헤젠 케이브 호텔(Hezen Cave Hotel)

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. The view is absolutely fantastic. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and they organized all the tours and the hot air balloons for us. Special thanks to Mehmet and Cem who made our stay an unforgettable one. The staff in the kitchen was amazing too and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you travel to Cappadocia. We stayed in the biggest suite and it was very clean and decorated with amazing taste..

I couldn’t recommend Hezen Cave Hotel, a four-star hotel in Ortahisar, Türkiye, highly enough. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views over the town of Ürgüp. The traditional Cave rooms are built into the hill, and have individualized Turkish personality and color. The hotel has a warm, comfortable, and stylish feel. It's a laid-back place where you don't need to dress up to eat and the hotel has a free laundry room (but, since what little labeling there was, was in Turkish, the machines were a bit challenging to use – but the hotel supplied tutoring). Rooms: The rooms are well-kept and artistically decorated. The toilets have radiant-heated floors, the showers closely resemble traditional hammams (but without the steam, the rooms are full of LED spot-lit nooks full of antiques. The property is designed to give a cozy feeling while staying in the caves and the staff is obsequious in its attention to serving you. The hotel provided an excellent varied and fresh buffet breakfast (included in the rate) and a heart and delicious ala carte dinner menu (at a reasonable extra cost). Now the other news: the hotel is built on multiple levels out of stone buildings dating back hundreds of years and more resembles a medieval stone European town than a single structure. Especially if you have knee or hip issues, the current town of the locations of some of the rooms in this hotel are more for mountain goats than for you. An example of a room to avoid is suite #15 – while the suite is huge and the décor worthy of an interior decorating magazine, it is down multiple flights of stone steps and has multiple levels within the suite itself. On the other hand, suite #13, while smaller, is equally ornate, on the same level as the restaurant and does not have interior stairs. Also, there is little likelihood that you will see hot-air balloons in this neck of the woods. But it was the above and beyond service from every single staff member that made the biggest difference. The hotel is excellent with a very clean environment and friendly management. When welcomed we were given a thorough outline of the areas unique landscape and history, and genuine recommendations of where to eat and what to see. By far one the best boutique hotels I’ve experienced in a long time.

I am a travel advisor and brought a small group to the hotel four nights. The rooms are charming and spacious. The entire staff is accommodating, kind and incredibly helpful. All of the groups needs were met, from arranging transportation, assisting with laundry cleaning, setting up balloon rides, horseback riding and so much more. They even made me a birthday cake, which was delicious:) I look forward to sending other clients to this gem!

Excellent location. Tranquil. Great amenities (guest laundry!), lovely breakfasts. Most of all - friendly, helpful, attentive, hospitable staff.

From arrival to check out one of our best experiences. Warm welcome, beautiful property, stunning views and double upgrade available during our checkin. The staff is extremely professional and friendly, aiming to provide the best possible guest experience. After spending three weeks in Europe and one week in Istanbul at top hotels including The Four Seasons and Hilton Bomonti, Haden Cave Hotel tops the list with its service and comfortable suites. Breakfast was great and nice wine selection for afternoon unwinding at anyone of their beautifully furnished terraces. Highly recommended, away from busy tourist area, but close enough to everything in the region.

I can confidently say this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff was extremely warm and friendly, always ready to help with recommendations of places to visit, help organising transport, and ready for a friendly chat about our day (there was someone available 24 hours a day in reception). They organised a reliable and safe pick-up and drop-off to teh airport for us too. The cave room was so very comfortable, extremely clean, and offered an amazing experience of staying in a room carved out of a cave. Genuinely breath-taking. The bathrooms even had their own mini hamman and showers were lovely! The breakfasts were delicious and tea/drinks were always available in the evenings. It is a perfect location for exploring the region with so many wonderful sights to see, restaurants and bars to explore, and, lovely people to meet. Cannot recommend the hotel strongly enough. It was ideal for a family stay, but lots of couples staying there too.

Hezen is a jewel amongst the caves! I had explored a lot of hotels in capadocia before booking hezen cave hotel. And i fell in love at first sight! As always is the case, we were hoping that it would be as good as it appeared... We walked in very late and tired from our long journey from home and just walking in to hezen was all worthwhile. Even though it was pretty late, Mr. Mehmet offered to make us some food and we sat on this beautiful sit out enjoying this meal which we did not want to end. It was beautiful. As we walked into our suites... It was another delight. The room and the ambience inside and outside were just breathtaking. And we hadn't even started with our sight seeing! We actually stayed up enjoying this forgetting how tired we were. I don't think we had enough of being in the hotel for the two days we stayed there. We certainly want to return to cappadoccia for several reasons but the greatest reason would be to stay at hezen cave hotel and not move out at all! The little niches through the entire hotel where you can sit and enjoy the sites were amazing. The service was great. Food was delectable. The staff was so helpful. An experience we can never forget. We stayed at the hotel only for one night but as we arrived early we were given an upgraded room and an early check in and thankfully a late check out as well🙏🙏🙏 That is almost impossible in some hotels. So thank you Berfin , you are exceptional person and most professional all the way. Your advice about the red tour was well explained and very welcome. The staff in the restaurant Ahmet, his wonderful wife and chef who makes the best chorba( soup) with most delicious croutons were wonderful and always welcoming. And of course the handsome Eyup and beautiful Kardelen That made our stay even more memorable by having a chat with us about their lives and serving us at breakfast and dinner. Thank you both. Hotel its self was very interesting to say the least with many levels of cave rooms designed in the heritage style and era it belonged to with few modern cons. We loved the outdoor lounge looking at Ortahisar castle and other cave dwellings. Our balloon ride was cancelled and on advice of the very experienced staff at the hotel , we booked a private driver for 4 1/2 hours Mr Erdogan to drive only the two of us around to all the major spots that we wanted to see. No waiting for other passengers on a tour bus, and no unnecessary stops at a particular shop or restaurant. After the tour the hotel allowed us to have a shower and freshen up in the bathroom they keep for guests who have already checked out. 🙏 We had a great day We were privileged also to meet the hotels owner Mr Murat in his carpet shop in Urgup ( near by town) who explained a few facts about carpet making. All i can say is that the hotel is as good as the staff make it to be, so keep up the good work and you all deserve a BONUS
