클럽 윈덤 애비뉴 플라자(Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza)

Parking is free behind the building. But valet is required otherwise. Security is tight and nice to have. Local shops all delish. They do try to sell you on a timeshare but easy avoidable by constantly saying no.

The family met to ring in the New Year. The hotel was conveniently located to public transportation and walking to major attractions. Places to eat were plentiful as well.

Overall solid stay. Would stay again and location is not bad for being outside the French Quarter.

This was our first and last stay at this hotel. Main problems: (1) Hotel staff woke us up on our last day 2 full hours before the 10:00 checkout time with 2 phone calls and banging on the door in an effort to push us out of the room early. Until now, I had never experienced such a thing at any hotel. (2) Bathroom is very small. (3) Valet parking was very slow at check-in and checkout.

Don't stay at this hotel unless you want a hard sell for their timeshare (although they don't call it that) business FROM THE MOMENT YOU CHECK IN . They will lie to you about the terms of the "ownership" product, schedule the presentation at an offsite location so that you can only return to hotel via their transportation, and LIE, LIE, LIE to you the entire time. Don't stay at this or ANY Wyndham hotel.

They want 90 mins of your time for a “night out on them” ($100 Visa card). Parking is $45-50/night which is typical for NOLA, but there is plenty of FREE street parking right behind the hotel. Our car was there for 3 nights and no issues (damage or tickets). The room was great (fridge, small dishwasher, sink, etc.), table, couch and a few chairs, and a separate bedroom (comfy bed). We didn’t check out the courtyard, gym or pool. Great location on the St Charles street car line.

Pour stay was absolutely amazing! We had some family in the hospital, and it was perfect location. The trolly (train) was perfect for getting around to places, we will be back again to stay at this location, employees were amazing and very very accommodating.

The hotel was very clean and cozy, but the whole stay they didn't have wifi.

So it begins with us being ambushed at check in with going to a sales pitch for Club Wyndham. We didn't realize that this was not a hotel in the classic sense. We inevitably agreed. More to get away to our rooms than anything. The rooms were newly renovated, spacious and very nice and so was the staff. However, the building almost in its entirety was being renovated. Amenities weren't available. There were construction workers everywhere. I often felt uncomfortable when I was walking alone in the hall. But the worst part, we were only there for 2 nights. The 2nd evening we were out and I noticed the hotel had called me several times. When I returned the call I was told that the fire marshall had deemed the floor we were on uninhabitable, we were forced to pack up all of our belongings and move to a lower floor. We paid for suites and were moved to regular rooms without any offer of compensation. I would not return there. They were not ready for operation as the building was a construction site of renovating. Before you book there you should call to make sure that all renovations have been completed. It was a fiasco. And parking is $52 a night!
