The town was busy and this hotel jacked up the price to over three hundred and thirty dollars for a double room for one night. And the management added an additional fifty dollars to the room for ”incidentals” claiming the charge would be removed sometime after our departure. The room was okay, clean and neat. But, the breakfast had over-done (burned edges) cheese omelets along with an assortment of other breakfast foods. The BIG disappointment was with the coffee. It was passible but there was no cream. The only thing available was artificial creamers. In an establishment of the caliber that Holiday Inn claims it to be, a guest expects a certain level of quality. In the morning that first cup of coffee can be important. I can't explain how disappointed I was to find that the milk available was two percent (no whole milk) and no cream for the coffee. I have a ”membership” to Holiday Inn (along with other chains) because I travel. I will think twice before staying at this chain in the future. On my way out of town, I will stop by McDonalds for my cup of coffee. They offer cream.
