The clerk who checked us in, Lisa, stated multiple times that she was tired and that her brain wasn’t working. She gave us keys to Room 134. When we got to the door, we thought someone might be inside because we thought we heard a tv but no one answered so we opened the door with our key card, and SOMEONE ELSE WAS INSIDE! We apologized and went back to the front desk. The same clerk thought it was funny that this had happened, saying things like “at least it wasn’t a couple” and “if it happens again, just tell them to scoot over.” She wasn’t at all apologetic and didn’t seem to understand the huge safety risk this had caused to both us and the other person. We felt so unsafe we pushed furniture in front of our door when we finally got to a new room. We don’t understand how the system allowed two people to be registered to the same room, but this is very concerning. Also breakfast was supposed to be served at 7 but at 7:01 breakfast wasn’t fully set up and we had to go.
