Internet was down most days, not even mobile data because of the location. Breakfast was average, lots of tourists groups, room was poor .

Saremmo rimasti volentieri un altro giorno, ma era tutto già prenotato. Albergo molto bello, immerso in un parco, tra le verdi colline che circondano Olimpia. Pulizia straordinaria. Personale gentilissimo. Ottima colazione e buona cena a buffet ad un prezzo contenuto. Una grande piscina circondata da prati. Appena fuori dalla città di Olimpia.

Large modern chain hotel close to the Olympus Archaeological site Site. Popular with tour groups. The lobby is vast, there is a good sized outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are a good size but for some strange reason all the furniture is very low to the ground so for some of a certain age & height it may be difficult to get up from the bed & chairs. The bathroom has a bath / shower combo which I dislike. The bed is hard and twin mattresses. There is an outdoor balcony. The dining room is huge with tables & chairs all very close and buffet dinner and breakfast was included. The food was very average. The wifi is hopelessly slow and unstable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel Amalia Olympia is perfect for what I needed it to be. I was there for one night and wanted something with easy parking in close proximity to the archeological site. It fit the bill. It's a little bit outside of town so it's not possible to walk to restaurants or anything, however if you have a car it's a very quick and easy drive. The facilities are a little tired but also perfectly adequate. It was not warm enough to use the pool when I stayed here but it looked like a good amenity. Lots of tour groups stay here because it is a large property.

This hotel has a picturesque marble atrium, which gives a misleading impression of the comfort and amenity of the rooms - which are quite basic. Breakfast is a chaotic, buffet style event. The food is similarly basic - similar to other Amelia's in the region - definitely not high end. You could do worse, but you could do a lot better in Greece.

It was near the end of September and Ancient Olympia was ideal for a short escape to sense the spirit of sportsmanship! For 2 nights we stayed at Hotel Amalia Olympia which was a very organized and filled with character hotel. The room was clean, very spacious and offered nice views to the Autumn landscape surrounding the hotel. Most important, throughout our stay all staff members were polite and always with a sincere smile. Mornings we enjoyed the rich breakfast buffet, but for me it was quite relaxing to have my coffee out in the garden. The pool was still open as the weather was mild, and late afternoon, after a visit to the stadium and the museum, I enjoyed my drink thinking how unique would be the feeling of the Olympic games experience so many centuries ago! Parking was more than adequate and driving to the site and the museum required only a few minutes. Thank you Amalia Olympia for this memorable stay!

Wonderful hotel, nice clean rooms, excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and very friendly staff.

We got two rooms. Going back and forth between our room and children’s room was not convenient. There was no connecting door. We had to go outside and then go from the individual room’s doors.
