One week before our stay, the accommodation cancelled the rooms, allegedly because the credit card details were incorrect, which is not correct as other bookings with the same card did not cause any problems. An alternative room (in a different building) was suggested at the same price of the original booking, but the room turned out to be significantly inferior on arrival (see picture). When we communicated this, we were given a choice: stay and pay the requested price or just leave. This is not the way you treat your "guests".
