Tino Hotel & Spa

The extra bed is really small and the breakfast is was just to get you full - nothing special. Unfortunately the orange juice, the croissants, tomatoes and the cucumbers were all bad. Only the receptionist knew English when we were staying. Dinner in the hotel's restaurant is pretty good with a fair amount of choices to pick from (it costs extra). The building itself is old but rooms are great.

The hotel has an excellent location, the rooms are well kept and clean, and the beds have good mattresses and pillows. You will get a good nights sleep. The people at reception are friendly and helpful. The breakfast could use improvement. It starts at 7 and ends at 10. By 8:30, it has been well picked over, the food is cold and for some reason they stop replenishing the food. I would definitely stay here again.

I feel extremely lucky that I was able to stay in this wonderful hotel! The girls at the reception Simona and Katezina (as well as another girl whom I unfortunately didn't catch her name) were all fantastic! They made me feel really welcomed and helped me deal with the smallest things, answering all my questions and making sure I was comfortable at all times-- they are truly gems and wonderful assets to the hotel! Since I was traveling alone after a 7 week music tour that I was on, this was the perfect place to end my little holiday :) What I LOVE about this hotel is that the staff ( reception, waiters, bartenders etc) are all FANTASTIC, there are TWO options of where to go to eat directly downstairs, PLENTY of parking options, clean comfortable rooms, and Spa options all just literally across from one of the most spectacular beautiful lakes in the world. I was on the 4th floor with views facing south to the mountains AND the lake and I never tired of looking out both day and night! I definitely left feeling more peace and tranquility and really can't wait to come back again in the future as really I was super comfortable all around!

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a lovely clean room overlooking the lake, we were worried it would be noisy with bars and the restaurant, but the double glazing did a great job of keeping the noise out! Good job as it was extremely busy and lively! The room was cleaned daily with plenty of towels and bedding changes. Internet was excellent. Breakfast was fine, really good selection of hot and cold, cereal, fruit etc, although the hot plates only kept food aired, not hot. Regular top ups, always plenty. Dinner was OK, limited choice if on half board, salad or soup starters, main and a pudding. The waiters seemed to favour guests who were not staying in the hotel, we could wait ages for attention while they looked after potential better tippers! Some of the waiters were a bit sullen but given the long hours they seem to work, we could sympathise! We only used the spa once, not sure of treatments available etc. We found the area lovely, some absolutely beautiful areas, but some not so lovely mixed in. Derelict grafitti-ed hotels and gardens next to modern hotels, sign of the times and the country's financial situation presumably. Old couples selling flowers and herbs and home made cakes, young mums with children begging from restaurant customers. Lovely shops, loads of pearls and silver. Shop owners keen to please, could be seen as pushy but probably desperate for customers! Boat trips, water activities, paragliding all available. Would we return - yes, without a doubt.

Excellent hotel, situated right on the waterfront with a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony - try to get a room at the front if you can. The rooms are excellent and staff very helpful. The hotel has both a bar and restaurant below and is quite lively at the weekend but only heard music once after midnight so wouldn’t let that put you off. Fabulous new location for lovers of mountains and lakes.

A fantastic hotel within the heart of Ohrid. A great check in process with a welcome drink and snack. The lake view rooms gave fantastic panoramic views of the lake. Our room was very clean and was serviced every morning. The bar and restaurant where also brilliant with great meals and drinks which where very well priced. The spa was well maintained and provide everything you need. We would defiantly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit the wonderful town of Ohrid
