The Seabird Resort Spa, in Destination by Hyatt

The valet was great. Bellhop was nice. Front desk. Easy from start to finish. They got it dialed in.

We came here last month for our honeymoon, and were definitely disappointed in our stay. Our room was $600+ a night so I had higher expectations. There is no parking for guests, unless you want to pay $50 a day for valet. The alternative is beach parking, which is daily parking. We had to go down every night at midnight to buy another parking pass. Incidentals are $150 a day which isn’t stated on their website. I understand that incidentals would be more expensive being on the beach but I feel like if it’s THAT much that’s something that should be said ahead of time. They told me it was up to me to call. The staff were extremely rude, as well as the manager on duty. We stayed one less night because we weren’t expecting the almost $500 extra charge for 3 nights. We were told there was nothing they could do to compensate us at all. We asked if there was anything they did for honeymoons & they said “oh yeah, there’s something in your room!” Only to find a handwritten note and 2 chocolate bars. I feel like a $600+ room could’ve tried a little harder for a once in a lifetime trip. The room was nice, the view was great, and we loved the beach access with the towel & chair rental but this place definitely left a sour taste & we don’t plan on coming back.

This is our third stay here. We always love staying here. The staff are wonderful. The location offers a short walk to the beach. Just an overall pleasant stay.

Great location to explore Oceanside, probably the nicest hotel on in the city. Unfortunately poor customer service from the late check in (room wasn't ready till almost an hour after check in tine with no care for the inconvenience (rude actually) to the valet who didn't help with luggage or even open the door for my wife - just took his tip and went back to the valet stand to vape. We had a suite on the corner, about $1100. Nice view... clean. Loud. For the money I'd stay in Del mar again, in a Júnior suite and get better service.

The rooms were big, comfortable, and upscale. Service was top notch. Great location with beach and pier across the street. I think they could have had a better menu at their restaurants and cafes. The food did not live up to the high ratings they gave it.

The only problem i didn’t get is Hotel and spa should be for adult only . Look like a daycare . So many kids in the pool. I feel the kids run the pool next to a spa. Loud kids everywhere, screaming at each others. Spa should be peaceful, quiet, enjoyable, but was not.

I’ve stayed at this location twice now. It’s a pleasant and trendy hotel, close to the beach and boardwalk.

Overall the property is very nice. The staff is not overly friendly and housekeeper poor! Our room was never cleaned until 5 o'clock in the afternoon and our coffee and creamer were never refilled! For the price of the hotel I would have expected more!

Beautiful room with ocean views and spacious bathroom. Conveniently located to the beach/pier and restaurants. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway!
