Knipoch House Hotel

We booked lunch in the restaurant for my mother’s 93rd birthday and our expectations were exceeded. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with welcoming smiles and made to instantly comfortable in the charming lounge area. The staff and manager were particularly attentive to my mother and made her feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and beverages were excellent. We cannot recommend Knipoch Hotel and Restaurant highly enough and extend our sincere thanks to the staff for making it such a memorable occasion.

I spend over 100 nights a year in hotels on business and leisure. Very, very rarely does a hotel create such an unparalleled experience as the Knipoch House Hotel. To list the ways in which this hotel excels would take too many words. But exception must be made in the case of the staff, who were all outstanding. Let us hope this hotel, and the three others in the group, become the benchmark by which other hotels are judged.

Lovely Staff, very impressed with how welcoming and helpful they were with us working there. Steph and Adrian especially outdid themselves to make us comfortable during our work based out of the area. The food and hotel if on the pricey side were very nice and you'll have a great sleep here!

After traveling for two weeks this was our last stop. Starting with the friendliest and most amazing staff, beautiful surroundings and comfortable rooms, it was a great way to end a fantastic Scotland vacation. Highly recommend you try the Old Fashions at the bar. The restaurant also far exceeded expectations.

We had absolutely, enjoyable time at Knipoch House. What a little gem of a place . The rooms are spacious and spotless. Great decor and crisp bed sheets. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was magnificent, the homemade sea****, and sourdough ale bread was delicious. Wonderful location. I can't fault anything. Looking forward to returning soon for longer.

This hotel has to be one of the best we have been to. We have been here for a long weekend. The staff have been amazing very helpful nothing is too much. Aimee is an amazing cocktail waitress she has listened to me an my husband all weekend making us brambles. Her cocktails are to die for. We had dinner in here the Sunday night and when I say there food is to die for it’s no lie. Husband is now sitting eating his second pudding lol. We will 100% be back. At the time of booking we never realised you can also bring ur dogs which we will next time. Thank you to the lovely staff a knipoch hotel we have had an amazing break away.

We received a nice welcome, with roaring fires, for Sunday lunch. We enjoyed the roast beef and the vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, parsnips, cabbage, roast potatoes) were well cooked. Beef slightly tough. Tasty gravy and and enjoyable parfait afterwards. A large bottle of sparkling water and red wine. Pricey though at £91. We booked a table although the restaurant was not busy.

This perfectly situated country house Hotel, so peaceful & quiet & within driving distance of Oban. Our room was lovely, the food amazing & the staff went the extra mile, very welcoming & efficient. We enjoyed our stay so much I'm looking forward to our return.

Nice hotel in a good location for visiting the Argyll coast. Room was spacious and comfortable. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Food very good, with a good selection of wines and spirits. We took advantage of an offer, so good value for money with that.
