We received a nice welcome, with roaring fires, for Sunday lunch. We enjoyed the roast beef and the vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, parsnips, cabbage, roast potatoes) were well cooked. Beef slightly tough. Tasty gravy and and enjoyable parfait afterwards. A large bottle of sparkling water and red wine. Pricey though at £91. We booked a table although the restaurant was not busy.
