Unique artist inspired hotel. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. Parking was a breeze. Great location.

Wonderfully designed hotel. It feels an oasis in a different part of town. The thought that goes into each room is really wonderful, and hands down we had one of the best showers we’ve ever had. We had a car, and they were very kind to always facilitate parking outside.
Our only small gripes were that the room does open right onto the courtyard, so we always had the blind down for privacy. The also wasn’t that much space for storage. Finally, the breakfast didn’t feel up to the standard that the rest of the hotel has set.

Beautiful small hotel in historic district, conveniently located less than 10 minutes away (walking distance) from the towns main square.
Rooms are very nicely set, as well as the bathrooms. Staff is friendly and there’s a terrace where you can have breakfast.
Definitely would return.

I truly picked a great hotel - Spira Hotel - for my stay. Each room pictured on this site is exactly as you will find it and more. The upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel reflects the pride the owners have in their property. I walked everywhere in Oaxaca City. And there are plenty of shopping, site seeing, and restaurants within minutes of the front door. I would highly recommend this hotel to people who aren't shy about walking around and who appreciate a more personalized hotel. At the end of the day, being back in my room was just amazing. (I was in the Monochromatica room.) I really can't say enough about the uniqueness and the upkeep of this hotel. Oh..and the bed...wonderful!

The Hotel is wonderful and is designed like a art hotel, it is very pleasant the architect design and interior of living rooms. The hotel rooms are made very unforgettable, best details included. The bathroom is also an art piece! The illumination, colors, the paintings, floor, everything is amazing!!

Conveniently located near thd metcado de noviembre and most place of interest. They provide potable water and nepresso capsules. However, the bed is shorter than normal.

We loved this hotel. I think it's brand new -- there were almost no reviews when we booked it. The room (9) was spacious, with a huge leather sofa and a nook off to the side for clothes and luggage storage. There was an outdoor patio between the outer door and the room and that patio has a lounge chair and bathtub. They got the shade design just right so we actually used both in the heat of the afternoon.
The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff noticed when we put out the little cleaning card and tidied up invisibly, even in the late afternoon.
The location is about two blocks west of the city center area. There are slightly more convenient hotels in town, but I had no complaints.
Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property and rooms were beautiful, the bed was super comfy and the rain shower was incredible. The staff were super friendly and accommodating - helping us with cabs, tours and dining recommendations. We would stay again for sure!
