A beautiful and homely hotel on the lake Geneva, close to the city but far enough to be peaceful and more reasonably priced. If one is visiting Geneva and wants a hotel on the lake, this would not exist in the city centre. And the prices of Geneva centre hotels would be a multiple of this one. Train to the city centre is only 10 minutes

Very helpful and pleasant staff, nice property, functional and just what we needed.

We cannot praise Hotel Real enough, the staff are simply exceptional, so friendly, attentive and professional they are beyond compare. The room facilities have a slight retro vibe but maintenence is fantastic and the rooms impeccably clean. The beds are very comfortable the pillows lovely and soft, the bedding lovely and high quality. The views from the hotel are simply stunning, with exceptional views over the lake. Location wise you could not ask for better, a short walk from the train station, 20 mins from the airport, and 2 minutes from the ferry to Yvoire. Even better is the gorgeous town of Nyon, a truly hidden gem, at least from this Londoners perspective. The staff at the hotel will point you to all the best cafes and restaurants, and the hidden local secret spots. Its a perfectly lovely hotel with some of the best staff we've ever encountered. Excellent stay at Nyon. They would just need to update the futon in their junior suite. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and surrounding area is great! Many restaurants and store in walking distance.

Perfect location with clean and spacious rooms. Staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. Would DEFINITELY stay at Real again.

Very busy promenade for a Sunday market … really quiet on Monday !!

Very welcoming and friendly staff at this hotel which is almost at the border of the lake. unfortunately the hotel had no outside area, not even for breakfast. Room was very clean and quiet but the design was very very dated. Breakfast was okay but wish there would've been at least a lake view and not just some shut curtains. Price was high as it's normal in this area. Unfortunately the charge an additional person in the same room was very high (CHF 40.-). Unfortunately it's a matter of luck if you get lake view....

Ne surtout pas réserver la "chambre suite junior" (n°45) si vous souhaitez dormir à 4 personnes, comme indiqué dans le descriptif. La literie du couchage d'appoint est absolument médiocre : il s'agit d'un vieux canapé qui fait couchage. Matelas de 3 à 4 cm d'épaisseur seulement, qui fait le creux au centre. Sommier en métal très inconfortable qui grince dès que l'on se retourne dans le lit et dont on ressent toutes les barres, très dures sous les épaules par exemple... Bref, fuyez pour cette chambre ! Le reste de la famille, logé dans une chambre pour 2 et pour 3, a été ravi de la literie. Petit déjeuner très bien. Personnel accueillant.
