Wentbridge House Hotel

Beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious would highly recommend a visit. The garden view room has a beautiful Copper bath. The room was really spacious and a lovely night sleep. There sticky toffee pudding was amazing

We regularly come to Wentbrige House Hotel when celebrating family occasions and my grandma used to love coming here for afternoon tea before she passed away. The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you. On one occasion, knowing how much my grandma enjoyed their cherry scones, they made her a box of 4 up to take home with her. When we visited after my grandmas funeral last year they even provided us with mulled wine (hot juice for the children) for the toast (all complimentary). This really is a special place. We went for Sunday lunch for my mums 60th birthday on 14th April 2024. There was 7 adults, a teenager and 3 children. The food was to die for! Most of us had the Sunday Roast which was one of the best I've ever had. My dad had the steak which he says was cooked to perfection and my uncle, who is vegetarian, had the mushroom stroganoff, which he says was beautiful. The chef sent out some complimentary warm sausage rolls to the table before the food arrived and as soon as they realised we had a vegetarian with us, they sent out a complimentary bowl of olives, which was a very nice touch. For desert there was sticky toffee pudding, cheesecake and creme brulee for the adults, and the children had fruit salad with chocolate dipping sauce. Again, all were beautiful. The grounds are beautiful. The inside is opulent and everything is pristine. I do not have a bad word to say about Wentbridge House Hotel and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

We had a lovely afternoon tea and really enjoyed it. I had prebooked so I knew there were some gluten free options. The choice of specialty teas was excellent and we really enjoyed our choices. The food was great. My gluten free scones were TEENY compared to the normal ones, but when I asked they brought me another (big) gf scone with no problems. It was much better! We loved the decor and the standard one contained a chocolate flower pot and edible soil. Thanks!

We invited 30 plus family members to a celebration lunch at the Wentbridge hotel. It was excellent! The whole event was beautifully organised, the staff were amazing and the meal was excellent. I was expecting it to be good but it was beyond excellent. It made, what for us, a special occasion into something extra special. I certainly recommend the hotel to everyone.

We chose Wentbridge House as a half-way break from our home in Sevenoaks and our final destination of a fishing village in the Scottish Borders. It exceeded all expectations from the moment we checked in to the time that we left. Our room was just perfect and dinner in the Hotel's Restaurant was exceptional. All the staff were very friendly and engaging whilst being very professional and courteous. We look forward to our next stay in a week's time as we travel back South.

Beautiful hotel. Food is as amazing and our waiter Matt N. Was fantastic! Such a credit to the hotel, friendly and helpful. Morton Brown toiletries were such a lovely touch. Rooms were very spacious and had all the extras you would want. Thanks for a great stay!!

We just held my husband’s 40th birthday meal with 18 of our family and friends. We had the Leatham Suite for private dining and it was superb! From first making the booking with Ellie right through to the event itself the service has been impeccable by everyone we came into contact with. The food was 10/10 and the roast beef and roast chicken dinners were particularly good. We were looked after by Bobby and Millie who were attentive without being intrusive and really friendly. They made the whole afternoon effortless for me and our guests. What I hadn’t expected were the wonderful little touches including the name place cards, the personalised menu and the birthday card for my husband. I would recommend Wentbridge House Hotel for an event in a heartbeat.

We got married at Wentbridge House on 30th March 2024 - the venue and team completely exceeded our expectations and our wedding weekend couldn’t have gone better. From reserving the date with Ellie the year prior, she has been so helpful, attentive and reassuring in helping us organise the day (& wider wedding weekend) and all the finer details. From hosting our guests the evening before and on the wedding day itself, Karen and Stuart were brilliant, everything went so smoothly and we are so grateful. The weather was great so the gardens made a beautiful backdrop to our drinks reception and photographs. The brilliant food, choice of function rooms inside the venue and the lovely on site bedrooms - there was something for every part of the wedding weekend - we were just so pleased with everything - fully recommend this beautiful venue and extremely professional team.

Amazing visit for lunch with friends for a special birthday. We stayed overnight as well and it was a wonderful experience. Very comfortable room, great area to explore and breakfast was table service with everything cooked to order which is rare to experience but made it even more enjoyable.
