Nice place

酒店性價比很高，大堂寬敞舒適。雖然房間略舊，但是衞生很不錯。大堂有茶水和咖啡供應，工作人員熱情禮貌，還會再來。

房間乾淨，就是不太亮

Perks: the (surprisingly warm) pool and hot tub made our trip, good coffee, chic lobby, nice restaurants within easy walking distance, funky art displays, comfortable room, relatively affordable. Downsides: not sure if we were just unlucky but we had some noisy neighbors, and sound seemed to carry very easily between our rooms (we did eventually ask them to keep it down), and the mattress didn't agree with my husband's back (it was fine for mine). Also, we wished that the hotel offered a breakfast!

Noisy, no hot water, hair dryer not working, only one working elevator so long wait or walked down 5 flights. We thought it would be better under new ownership and competition from new Fairfield but even worse. Will not stay here again.

I only stayed two nights, but I had a very nice stay. The location is perfect for both the downtown shops and restaurants, as well as the short walk to Mass MoCA. My room was large and nicely furnished. The microwave and refrigerator are a nice touch. I loved the wood floor throughout the room. I appreciated having soap and lotion in large bottles instead of mini soaps and shampoo. Much less waste. I enjoyed the view overlooking Main Street. I would gladly stay again.

Perfect location on main st close to good restaurants & near Mt Greylock & Berkshire East. Staff was very friendly & the lounge was cozy for reading.

Our stay at Hotel Downstreet was disappointing. The check-in process was very stressful. We arrived at three pm to check-in and were told that our room wouldn't be ready for at least an hour. The woman pointed to a cave-like room and said we could wait there or in the bar. This was on a gorgeous, warm day. Frustratingly, we had planned our day around check-in and received no warning ahead of time that they would have to check us in late. She offered no discount for the inconvenience caused by the fact that they are short-staffed, but she did try to blame us, saying that check-in technically "starts" at three pm with the implication that they could check customers in whenever they want... So be forewarned... You could show up at five pm and they could tell you they can't check you in until midnight lol... She also refused to let us use the pool while we were waiting, even though we were technically paying for use of these amenities. The hotel itself is weird. The elevator feels borderline unsafe. There was dirt and hair on the floor in our room. The doors of every room on the floor slam loudly and the walls are paper thin. The fire alarm in our room started beeping in the middle of the day so they had to come fix that. The design is cheap-looking. The bathroom was outdated and the tub was poorly-repaired and had dirty caulking. The bed was comfortable, although the fitted sheet slipped off in the middle of the night which was annoying. The pool was nice.

Proximity to Mass MoCA is great, easy parking, nice newer rooms, gym/pool facilities.
