The staff were very friendly, helpful, and super attentive. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The dipping pool was refreshing. Breakfast was included and very good. No lunch service but there is a cafe in the visitor centre next door. Free aperitif drink and canapes. Dinner was very enjoyable and the chef willing to accommodate special requests in advance. Very convenient for Nitmiluk Gorge boat tours and hiking in the park. About 20 minutes drive to the town of Katherine. Relatively expensive.

What a lovely hotel near the boat trips to Katherine Gorge. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms are lovely , lots of space and modern . The restaurant is great, really fabulous food . A gem in Katherine - a luxury stay in the northern territory .

This place is very special and a destination in itself. It is exclusive and professional, the villas are large, well appointed and modern with decks that look through the fragrant bush. It was so peaceful sitting in the cool of the morning listening to the birds. What makes this place very special though is the staff, from all over the world, they clearly love their job and make a great team. Gee on check in made us feel very welcome and Killian was charming and right on the mark with his service. Breakfast is provided as was drinks and canapés for sunset by the pool. The menu is limited as a result of the remoteness and small amount of guests but the quality was exceptional. I had Daniel’s barramundi the first night which was beautifully cooked. This is fine dining. The second night I wanted something light and fresh and Sam the French chef went out of his way to make a beautiful salad for me and a delicious duck with jus for my husband which he raved about. The lodge is a short walk to the visitors centre and the gorge tour jetty and the start of many hiking trails. Thank you to the staff for a memorable stay. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend a stay here. It was a good location for the sights and tours. The rooms are very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable as well! great bathrooms and decks. The pool is refreshing. The service is fantastic. Sunset drinks and canapés and the restaurant is simply delicious. The fish and the steak were sensational. The entrees and desserts as well. And exceptionally well priced!

Cicada Lodge exceeded our expectations. Polished yet understated this beautiful, boutique, eco friendly hotel is set in the perfect location. Particularly, if you wish to do a gorges tour. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, the food in the restaurant is excellent and service is outstanding.

Such a beautiful place on Nitmiluk Gorge, a 5 star Lodge all the way for me. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and the staff were phenomenal. Our room was very modern with lovely furnishings, super comfy beds, great and bathroom/shower. Quite a small lodge set amongst serene bushland, I really liked the intimacy and tranquillity. The bar/restaurant staff were very attentive and the meals were exquisite. Although we only stayed 1 night, it was definitely the highlight of our adventures in the N.T.

The service at Cicada Lodge was outstanding! We stayed two nights during our visit to Nitmiluk National Park. Jake warmly welcomed us as we entered even though a tour bus just arrived before us. We settled ourselves into our rooms prior to our welcome drinks by the pool. This was shortly followed by sunset canapé. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We were able to hang out as a family in one of the rooms prior to dinner each evening. We enjoyed two breakfasts and dinners at the lodge. Thank you Nathan, Kilian and staff for your amazing service. The food was pretty good too!

What an oasis. 5 star luxury and Katherine Gorge to enjoy. Whats not to love? Big thanks to Jake, Neil, Violet and the lovely french woman with the short fringe and big brown eyes (sorry, I couldn't catch your name).

Beautifully situated, great service, clean and tidy accommodation. Absolutely loved the food. If you are in the area you must give this a go. Great walks and MTB trails easily accessed right from the lodge. You can even relax by the pool which was lovingly refreshing.
