베시스타운 컨트리 게스트하우스(Bessiestown Country Guesthouse)

Absolutely amazing from start to finish! Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The views were amazing. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory in the evenings. The staff were very friendly, made you feel at home. Would highly recommend.

This was our third stay here and we would definitely stay again. Large apar**ent type room, easy parking and friendly hosts. The breakfast was excellent. Easy parking next to the apar**ent. Only issue is due to several hotels now closed it is a 15 minute drive to somewhere for dinner.

I stayed three nights in total on my way to and from Scotland, I loved it so much. A wonderful welcome from Jack and the delightful Margaret. Such pleasant staff they have to help them. A beautiful room, a stunning location looking across the valley into Scotland and great choice at breakfast. I spoke to so many guests who had been returning for years, I’m not surprised!

Well this guesthouse is a real find. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room as were toiletries in the en-suite. There was a communal lounge and a fabulous conservatory. Our hosts were absolutely lovely and were very helpful with information about the area. Breakfast was fantastic and really set us up for the day. We will definitely stay here again, thank you

We used to come to Bessiestown regularly before Covid , for afternoon tea , with friends and family. Alas they haven’t restarted it but they have beautiful guest accommodation at reasonable prices for B&B. We decided to have an overnight stay to celebrate a friends birthday and to remember a close friend who’d recently passed away , a friend who so enjoyed an afternoon tea here. We brought our own afternoon tea with us ,and Margaret , the owner , very kindly loaned us the china which was a lovely thing to do for us and much appreciated . The accommodation is superb and loads of space , with everything you need. A cooked breakfast was served in the main dining area of the guest house. It was very tasty and served with fresh coffee. We were looked after very well by Margaret , Jackie , and Ann so it’s a five star thumbs up from us. We do plan to return this year

The service here is amazing. We ran in to some issues elsewhere and Bessiestown were so helpful, they made our day. This is our place of choice. We’ll definitely be back. I’d give Maria 6 out of 5 if I could

Off the beaten track, so a great place to unwind after a long drive. Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room, great breakfast. Lovely view from the bedroom window, and a lovely garden areato sit out in. Friendly and welcoming.

We booked this as it was the nearest available to Netherby Hall fair. So glad we did as it was delightful and set in beautiful surroundings. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were lovely. The highlight was the 3 setters who were amazing. Thank you

Lovely place, lovely owners who can’t do enough for you. Quiet and beautiful location, rooms comfy clean and spacious. Fresh Cooked breakfast specific to whatever you want. In the middle of nowhere so the lady even called us to let us know there isn’t many places around to get dinner to warn us, I thought that was so lovely and so thoughtful and shows how much she cares about the guests. Would go back in a heartbeat
