My fiance was stuck in their elevator for an hour and 15 minutes. When staff were first notified, they were not aware of their proper procedures or protocol and had to get the 800 number for the “elevator guy.” My fiance was hot and had anxiety from the small space and after about 20 minutes, I called 911. We realized that firefighters were trained for these situations and knew they could get him out. The GM was present when I called 911 and didn’t know he should call 911 as soon as an emergency of this caliber happened. Neither did his staff. They came up and told us they had no idea but thought about it. So the elevator guy came about 3 hours after the hotel was notified and if we had not called 911, he would’ve been in there for 3 hours. The GM offered to comp us the room, but I have yet to see any comp or phone calls. Not a satisfied customer at all. Would never stay here again.
