We were on a vacation trip to India for 3 weeks. The day we arrived, AI cancelled all the flights to our destination city. So our taxi driver took us to Vishal residency. I must say, the service was excellent. They stored our luggage for 10 days until we finished our local travel and we picked up our bags after 10 days and moved onto our next destination. It was timely help and we truly appreciate it. Location is excellent and it is close to the airport. They provided us 5 star service. Thank you Vishal Residency

the mistake i made is not checking these reviews. just like majority of the recent reviews even my experience was really bad. no hygiene. bedsheets and pillow are dirty, stained and had a lot of hair. no hot water at all. got scared of getting electrocuted touching the switches. taps were broken. there is a continuous periodic annoying sound. when complained, they said nothing can be done. the worst experience ever.

My stay at Hotel Vishal Residency in Mahipalpur wasn't great. I booked a 4-day stay through MakeMyTrip, and it wasn't as smooth as expected. First off, they made me wait until 2:30 PM to get my room. After a tiring journey, waiting that long was quite annoying. It felt like they weren't too concerned about guests' time or comfort. What bothered me more was the way they assigned rooms. It seemed like they just handed them out randomly without considering what guests might prefer. The room they gave me first wasn't up to the mark, making me wonder if they really care about the quality of the stay. The hotel itself lacked some basic facilities. It felt like they were more interested in taking bookings than making sure guests had a good experience. If you're thinking about booking here, be cautious. There might be better options in the area for a more hassle-free stay.

Similar to other reviews on this hotel, I also got scammed. This hotel is running a racket exploiting vulnerable travelers in conjunction with some local taxi drivers. I was originally booked somewhere else, but “ended up” here. This is how it unfolded. Arrived in Delhi Airport T3 late at night and tried to get a taxi 3km to my hotel for a one night stay. Had an early flight the next morning and had just come in all the way from Australia. I had been in transit for 18 hours and just wanted to get a few hours rest. I was originally just going to walk to my hotel, but the area near the airport was hectic so I chose to take a cab. Although I had Google maps running, and was trying to direct the cab driver, the taxi driver got “lost”, overcharged, (2000 rupees) and took me to this place instead of where I had booked. Then, because it was late and I was tired, I ended up just paying the room fee rather than forcing the issue. This hotel also overcharged. 6000 rupees. The room had no hot water. I was angry as I knew I was on the wrong end of a bad deal but didn’t really have much energy to fight it. I threw the key on the counter upon check out the next morning right in front of the ***ager’s face. The same taxi driver was there waiting for me hoping to scam me again. I went with another cab right in front of their faces. This caused some commotion!

Avoid this place at all costs. I got scammed by a taxi driver who ***aged to convince me that the hotel I booked was not available and got me to the hotel Vishal. They took advantage of my vulnerable situation (it was late in the night, in a dodgy neighborhood) and made me pay a super high fee for a room when I clearly could not say no anymore, so they could clearly split the money between them. I feel very stupid now, but those people really affect negatively the reputation of this country, as this was the way I was welcomed in India. Besides being scammers, I think the bedsheets have not been changed at least for the last couple of months, there are hairs and insect everywhere. A real nightmare, stay away from this place.

Dirty bedsheets, pillows. Three pillows without covers, bathrooms were really bad, shower not working, dirty bucket with broken mug for bathing.
