Cedar Grove Motor Lodge

The one bedroom room was modern and well presented. Plenty variety of teas and coffees. Chocolates on pillow a lovely touch. Cookie time biscuits nice extra. Bed and pillows comfy. TV in lounge and bedroom. Good quality shampoo and conditioner (made locally). Heat pump kept our room warm. Two outside verandas were nice. Good variety of restaurants and supermarket close walking distance. Thank you Lindsay and Tracy. We appreciate your warm and friendly hospitality.

What a lovely motel.... Our room was very spacious and clean, the kitchenette was nicely stocked and the bathroom was spacious. The location was perfect, walking distance from downtown, a grocery store, the river walk and the InterCity bus stop. The bed was really comfortable. We would definitely recommend!

This is a fabulous property! Lindsay and Tracy were amazing hosts! The room was very large with separate living and sleeping spaces. We had a huge jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and two balconies! It's walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants, and the Art Gallery and Queens Garden. Highly recommend!

Excellent place to stay. Close to everything and big rooms with kitchen/dining/living room with separate bedroom. Big bathtub with high tech towel racks and mirror that doesn’t fog up. Made our own dinner every night there. Best place we stayed in NZ.

The location is excellent, room was immaculate & one of the nicest rooms i've stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful Penny. Even the yummy fudge on the pillow is a nice touch. Will definitely be going back here for a stay... :-)

Great place to stay in the very heart of Nelson. Just 5 min walk to City center. Nice rooms and very service-minded staff. Plenty of free parking spaces inside the hotel's own area. No problems what so ever recomending this Hotel to others.

Located across the river from the center of town, the hotel is very close to the restaurants and shops, but nice and quiet. There Beautiful views of sunset on the bridge! Room was large and comfortable, with well stocked kitchenette, with coffee, sugar, tea and milk provided. Washer and dryer are available for a fee. Very helpful staff, reserved me a taxi to get to the airport (did not seem to be any other way to get to Nelson’s airport). Wonderful stay! Will definitely recommend it!

Amazing service from start to finish. The room we asked for was perfect, plenty of toiletries, nice outdoor area, clean , clean, clean!! The lady at reception made our arrival easy, the Motor lodge is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Nelson. Which was awesome for us as we had travelled from Kaitaia. Will stay next time we are down there and we highly recommend. Thank you

A nearby motel canceled our booking at very late notice and the lovely couple at Cedar Court pulled out all the stops to provide us with a couple of excellent rooms. We were very grateful and would heartily recommend this business to anyone looking for superior accommodation close to town. Additionally Tracy gave us a great cafe recommendation.
