고메즈 플레이스(Gomez Place)

Wanted to have a quiet, friendly place to write and do some work and this is a small oasis of friendliness and care. The owner is taking care of everyone's needs, breakfast is nice and included. It was very quiet when I was there (low season) which added to the relaxed experience, but it was especially the care for the garden that was really nice to see. The only drawback was that after a big rain, the access road flooded. Otherwise great stay!

My room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. All the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. The breakfast was good and there are many great places to eat nearby. The owner, Mr Gomez, organised a great tour around Sri Lanka for me and was very helpful with advice and recommendations. I really enjoyed my stay at Gomez Place and my holiday in Sri Lanka and will definitely stay there again next time I visit.

Everything is positive. The owner will talk to everyone if possible on a daily basis to make sure you are comfortable. Anything you might need he will take care of it. All his team wants to make sure you are well taken care. Gomez Place is work of art.

Incredible Location ..just off Negombo Beach . The rooms blend in perfectly with nature ..simple yet tastefully and creatively put together. The host Mr. Gomez is an angel that dropped out of the sky like manna from heaven. A perfect gentleman and incredible host he attends to his guest's EVERY requirement promptly and with meticulous care . His place feels like a home with it's always cheerful smiling staff and warm hospitality. I'd say it's a boon . The breakfast served every morning is fresh made to order with adequate fruits eggs coffee juices etc etc . Kudos to this charming place with it's equally charming decor , host and staff . It's a very homely space with great service all around - host made sure requests are made, and the staff are attentive. Ammenities are adequate (hope to see more upgrades!) and location is great. Didn't get to spend more time, but would definitely recommend and stay here again.

All of the staff, including the owner himself were absolutely phenomenal! They made sure I feel right at home, and gave me all the information I needed including organising my airport transfer. Hotel itself is very homey, private with a proper serenity feel. If you are travelling to Negombo anytime soon, I would highly recommend this place!

The most peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Mr Gomez is at the hotel for most of the day and treats all guests as important to him personally. The staff are always polite, happy and helpful. He will arrange any trips for whatever length of time for you with a safe driver and comfortable car. The hotel has a superbly maintained garden and pool and the room was comfortable and spacious. I stayed during a difficult time for the lovely country of Sri Lanka due to the economic crisis but Gomez Place offered an oasis of calm for those of us fortunate enough to be staying there. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport which was perfect.
