나자레, Miradouro do Suberco 근처 호텔

First I'd like thank the lovely receptionist who checked us in and later offered us a ride to the village as we were walking there. I didn't get the chance thank her again. We decline as we love to walk and wander but we were very appreciative of her gesture. The hotel has a lovely view over the beach and the cliffs. We took advantage the dinner buffer which had a lot choices and all were delicious. Breakfast was also great, the bed comfy and the room cozy. We will definitely be back someday.

Was confused why we were told we must pay upfront for our stay before even checking in. We have always paid at checkout. Then we were told our credit cards didn’t work and we must pay cash upfront. We used our debit card to pay but this caused worry for us about our cards. We spent an hour waiting on hold with MC to assure us there was nothing wrong with our cards using up a lot of our roaming phone credit…which turned out to be completely unnecessary. The room was ok with a comfortable bed and pillows. The emergency cord in the bathtub has been cut off at the base and is a safely issue. The internet connection is slow/non existent and most of the cable channels are unavailable. There is no kettle or bar fridge in the room. The breakfast buffet is very sp**** with no jams or any hot buffet items beside cold scrambled eggs. There are the usual cold offerings like cheese, cold cuts and buns, bread and cake.

We stayed for a week and the hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and patient. Only small let down was the size of the television in our family room (very tiny). However, we would not hesitate in booking another trip and staying at this hotel. We would recommend.

The hotel is located inside a restaurant. I know this sounds strange, but, yes, it is. You get to the hotel reception by crossing a seafood restaurant. It is a small hotel in front of Nazaré beach, and not far from the funicular to get to Praia Norte from where you can see the famous giant waves. The view of the sea is beautiful. The breakfast is very tasty and is served in the restaurant. We were served by Sergio, and he was very nice. Also the people in the hotel restaurant. It looks like a family hotel. Regarding the rooms. There is an elevator to get to the rooms. We asked for a room for three people. But, in truth, it was a room with two single beds (together), and a sofa that functioned as a third bed. In addition, the bathroom is a semi-transparent opaque glass wall, which is not optimal for privacy in a three-person room. It was a room overlooking a concrete building on a small street. The room was very clean. However, you can tell it is a hotel that has been built many years ago. But, it did not have toiletries. Parking is on the street. They do not charge a parking meter between 8pm and 8am. But you have to be very attentive because at 8am it starts to count and you have to have the parking ticket. The hotel restaurant is a large seafood restaurant. For people who are animalistic it can be very violent, because there are live crustaceans to be selected and cooked. So, it is definitely not a hotel for animalists or vegans.

Fuimos a pasar Semana Santa a este hotel rural en base a sus buenas criticas de internet, y he venido encantada, nos dieron la Casa de San antonio, una pequeña casa de piedra, salon grandisimo, un dormitorio y sofa cama ,dos cuartos de baños, y tambien un pequeño jardin bien amueblado para disfrutar de ello, la cocina muy bien equipada, no le faltaba detalle, todo tiempo de electrodomesticos, desayuno muy bueno,zumo natural y la persona encargada del desayuno pendiente de que estemos bien, tiene piscina, barbacoa, salon de juegos,el personal super amable, nuestra estancia ha sido estupenda, desde luego muy recomendable. no dudeis en ir

You can see and feel the pride of ownership of this property. The rooms are petite but have everything you need and are charming. Spotlessly clean, great location just steps from the beach, a fridge to store any food with a small common room for guests and decorated with attention to detail, the decor is a cohesive Nazaré theme. With a delicious breakfast included, staying at By the Sea was a treat!

We stayed at the “Campanile” hotel in Caldas de Rainha for three nights during October. It was a pleasant stay, in a modern hotel with easy access to main roads, a supermarket near-by, free parking and a room with all amenities. As is the custom lately there is only soap no shampoo, so bring some. The location is in a convenient spot for day trips to close destinations, like the Obidos Castle, the Nazere lighthouse, the Fatima shrine or the Buddha Garden of Eden; all these are within an hour drive. There was a misunderstanding between ******* and the hotel regarding the cost of breakfast. We had seen “included” when booking, but the hotel asked for pay; ******* promised to reimburse us for the cost (6 Euro/day/person). We would recommend this hotel for its location, amenities and low cost.

We stayed here 2 nights. We had a duite with our own deck and lounge chairs. unfortunately those lounges had bird poop on them when we arrived and were never cleaned. nor were we offered any nlanket or towel covering to allow us to use them. the room was clean overall and very spacious. the safe in the room did not work, even after we had staff come to reset it. the tv remote did nog work in the sitting area. Because of covid, amenities are reduced. the outdoor pool was open, and families were definitely enjoying it. the restaurant was not open the first night, and the bar had only snacks to offer. although the hotel advertises that they have a shuttle van, it was not available while we were there. The hotel sits high on a hill anove the town of Nazare so enjoys a lovely view. We asked about bus service to the hotel are and were told there is none. this is incorrect, however. we found a bus stop 3 doors away from the hotel and discovered it makes a loop through town. We sldo asked about restaurants and cafes nesr the hotel and were told we would need to go down to town. again this was incorrect. we found a fabulous restaurant next door.
