A tranquil place. Surprisingly amazing service like a 5 star luxury hotel. Fantastic food. I was there for a week and i will go back. the rooms are comfortable, the bed particularly so, there is good air con and plenty of space so it almost feelsl like you are in your country house and not in a hotel. the only problems are small in the context of it all but worth a mension. the shower was not great and it had one of those annoying mixer taps so when some other room starts using water the temperature changes. the range in temperature is too much! each day this surprised me as it just does not fit with the rest of the hotel. the other small issue is a few of the electrical sockets in my room which was a bit annoying. specifically i had to unplug the Nespresso machine to plug my laptop in. That isnt good in the morning! Breakfast is wonderful and Herman is a fantastic host. nothing is too much trouble at breakfast time, even sorting out laundry! dinner and lunch are evidence of a super talented kitchen. How can tomatoes just taste so good. Simple things cooked with a super talented touch.

Our room was large with a nice terrace and view of the mountains. The hotel is a bit out of town but the walk into the city was pleasant and easy. A very peaceful place to stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. If you don’t mind walking a bit, the Alma is a very nice place to stay and enjoy Pamplona.

Beautiful hotel, friendly personal, fantastic breakfast, spacious rooms with panoramic windows, and beautiful mountain views, everything is clean, and the room is equipped with all necessary amenities.

Lovely service at the breakfast, the staff were amazing with our kids (Christian and German!) The suite was large and beautiful. We were extremely comfortable. The spa had all the amenities we hoped for! The only thing I felt was missing were more options for the room service. But overall we had a great visit and will definitely be back.

The was perfect calm cosy and the bed very confortable nice view on the mountain excellent sévices from the staff. Excellent restaurant for diner. The breakfast was also excellent fresh fruits cheese cold cut eggs prepared just for you very complete I recommend this place !

One of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in! The rooms ( A suite and a double) both had outside spaces which was a lovely bonus - however I did feel that the furniture on the terrace could be better planned. The hotel is ver quiet and tranquil, the gym and spa were empty every time we used it. Very helpful staff, accommodating staff and a really nice restaurant. We didn't eat at La Bibloteca as it was closed during our stay. A lovely walk along the river into town takes approximately 23/30 minutes - you can take a more direct route but it is along a main road. A taxi is about 8 Euro's.

A great place to relax and eat. We had a suite and a double, set up as a twin, both were great rooms and both had outside space. The hotel seemed very tranquil and relaxing. There didn’t seem to be too many other guests. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast (with incredibly friendly and helpful staff). We found the same at dinner. The food was excellent (we shared anchovies, croquettes, potato salad with scallops, tomato salad with tuna, oxtail cannelloni and sea bass). We didn’t get to sample the tasting menu as we stayed on Monday and Tuesday nights, but enjoyed dinner regardless. Our only criticism would be the portions are too big at dinner, but a good problem to have. We enjoyed gym, sauna, steam room and pool and were the only ones we use them while there. It is approximately a 30 min walk into town along the river. We loved sightseeing and would strongly recommend the bullring and the cathedral, as well as just wandering around the small streets of the old town.
