The place was clean, the staff were friendly, the food was meh, and the drinks were not good. The beach was incredible. The pool was a delight. Breakfast was good. Staff suffered with logistics. Keeping up tables being bussed, soda machines working, towels being available, TV stopped working day two and was never addressed. Gift shop was lovely and t-shirts were a bargain. Starbucks only took cash. Wi-Fi was spotty. This is a three star hotel with 5 star friendliness and cleanliness. Good leadership would fix a lot of issues. Buy a Wi-Fi booster, allow a cash upgrade at the bars, staff more effectively. It felt like team members were being pulled from one location to the next event without completing tasks like rolling up silverware, and prepping dishes and laundry. A very small inves**ent in time and a few tweaks to the facility would easily bump this to a 4 star. I do not regret going, but if you are a foodie or like a higher quality of alcohol this will not make you happy. The orange juice - which seems so minor - was terrible. The salad bars were very good. The housekeeping staff and the entertainment staff are functioning at a very high level. The bartenders seemed near panic stricken on several occasions. The Garden of Eden was the best restaurant but even they struggled with the cuts of meat. The Asian restaurant was okay - good service and main courses that tasted very processed. I did not care for Martinos the Italian place. It was understaffed and the food was poor
