호텔 톨레도 네이플(Hotel Toledo)

Trip Advisor rating was so inaccurate! The staff are fabulous. The accommodation is slum like! Sheets don’t fit the bed, bathroom appallingly, crumbling plaster, mould on ceiling , and noisy from dusk till dawn . Totally run down and over priced . Avoid

The staff was amazing, knowledgeable of their surroundings, and very helpful, the room was clean but it was very outdated, the paint was peeling off the walls, the sink was placed on a old piece of wood and when you use the shower it felt like you were going to fall on the floor below.

DON'T BOOK HERE! Volgende was kapot in de suite en werd niet gemaakt. Op slaapkamer 1 is de verlichting boven de badkamerspiegel kapot, de wc-bril staat helemaal los zodat je verschuift, nachtlampje boven bed werkt niet. Op slaapkamer 2 zijn 2 lampjes in de badkamer kapot. Het water van het toilet blijft de hele tijd doorlopen en kan niet gestopt worden. Dit geeft de hele tijd een storend geluid (7 dagen lang!) We hadden kamer met keukentje geboekt. Er was geen oven. Er was geen keukengerei, geen bestek of glazen. Geen kookpotten of borden. Het gas was zelfs niet aangesloten dus je kon niets klaar maken. Alle keukenkasten waren leeg! We zijn dus altijd op restaurant moeten gaan! NOT 3 STARS BUT 0 STARS! Wat beschreven wordt, MOET aanwezig zijn. Hierna zal ik ze eens opsommen. De volgende zaken zijn er niet: pantoffels, badjassen, koffie/theefaciliteiten op de kamer, keukengerei, oven, bestek, radio, avondentertainment, biljart, koffiebar, tafeltennis, hometrainer, geluidsisolatie, fatsoenlijke toiletartikelen, restaurant in het hotel, enz… Schimmel op de badkamer. HANDDOEKEN MET GATEN IN! Toiletartikelen (2 zakjes bodywash en voor de rest niets) worden niet aangevuld. Het valt op dat er bijna niet gepoetst wordt, enkel bed opgedekt. Ik vraag achter koffietoestel. Antwoord is "je hebt waterkoker en je moet elf koffie, suiker , melk in de winkel kopen". Kwaliteitscertificaat aan receptie is van 2007 (16 jaar geleden dus!)

This hotel was offered for 1 night as part of our package at the end of an amazing trip to Venice, Florence, Rome and Amalfi. I always check the hotels on our favorite travel app, Trip Advisor. Based on what I saw on the app, I decided not to upgrade. WHAT A MISTAKE! The gentleman at the desk could not have been nicer, but that’s the only positive thing that I can say. The pictures on Trip Advisor must be very old, or we just happened to get the 2 worst rooms in the Hotel Toledo. I’m not sure what was worse, the dust covered hangers, peeling paint, damaged walls or what appeared to be mold in the bathroom. THIS WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORSE HOTEL THAT WE’VE EVER STAYED IN FOR A NIGHT(AND THE 4 OF US HAVE STAYED IN MANY HOTELS)! Both rooms were horrible(although my wife and sister-in-law did say that the sheets smelled clean).DO NOT STAY AT THE HOTEL TOLEDO IN NAPLES.!

Located in the heart of the Spanish Quarter, 15 minute walk from the ferry port & near to the Toledo Metro station (4 stops to Napoli Centrale train station), this hotel is very central. Staff were friendly, the included breakfast was a nice surprise as was the roof top terrace (with resident tortoise). However, our air conditioning didn't work in the room - which led to an uncomfortable night sleep. Nearby bars were very loud & raucous into the early hours. The bathroom had quite a bit of mould in it, you couldn't put toilet paper down the toilet & the toilet did not flush easily. The room was small for four people. We had a fridge and wifi which worked intermittently.

Location is in the beating heart of old Napoli, right on the door step, earthy and vibrant. A step away from bars, restaurants and the craziness of Naples. Disliked · The hotel, more a pensione is sadly lacking inves**ent and attention. It is not rustic but run down. It lacks management with vision and resources to turn this faded, dated and fusty back street B & B into a real little gem. The management is lazy, trading off it's authentic location, whilst not capitalising on the resources it has. For instance it's roof top terrace is a real winner but little mote than a storage area and completely under utilised. We had some serious issues during our stay, solied blood stained pillow cases, AV and fans that did not wrk, fridges that were broken, mould on the bathroom walls. Then finally a serious water breach, that also present a fire risk, that necessitated our moving rooms, that was not attented to, until it had reached a level where the water had escaped the room out onto the hall, despite management being told. The noisy front facing room we were given had no double glazing, despite repreated reviews mentioning it. We were simply given ear plugs by managment and basically told to get on with it it is Napoli. Breakfast is a lack lustre affair, a few pastries and fruit with eggs on request, and even the fridge is turned off after the service. The only saving grace is that goreous little roof terrace. No refund or compensation was offered for our poor experience further demonstrating the lack of commi**ent to guest experience and customer service. Oh and top tip, if taxing from Napoli air port - don't let the taxi drop you at the port and say its only a short walk to the hotel. Its1km from the port - not much on foot alone but with cases - the cobbled streets will destroy luggade wheels, Taxi do and will go to the little back streets - the taxi driver was just lazy.

Very friendly staff, centrally located in the middle of everything: food, public transportation, shopping, laundry facilities. Room was cramped and very noisy from ally below until around 4 am each nite we were there. But we got to experience the real area.

Good location near the metro. Climate control was not working even though there was a ductless unit in the room. The room was clean, but dated. The stay was tolerable because the outdoor temperature was cool. I would not stay here when the weather is warmer.
