This b&b was basically a giant catfish. It took over 20 minutes for us to initially find the place, because we were looking for a hotel (that's what it was advertised as on maps), and turns out it's just a shared apartment in an apartment building (up 5 flights of stairs, also) The rooms were dirty, and it wasn't immediately obvious that this would be a shared living space. The pictures online look way nicer than in person. We had a private bathroom across the hall, next to another couple's room and unlocking and locking the doors took over 5 minutes because the locks were old, finicky, and made a lot of noise. We were only given one set of keys so if you wanted to use the bathroom, you would have to lock the other person in the bedroom before going into the bathroom and locking it (we were 2 women traveling and felt uncomfortable leaving the door unlocked in a small apartment full of strangers at night). The bedroom - like I mentioned, was so dirty that if you walked around barefoot you got black dirt on your feet. The bed was uncomfortable and so small that my feet would hang off the edge of the bed. I am only 5 foot 5, so I can't imagine how taller people would even be able to fit on the bed. The bathroom - one of the lights didn't work, the shower was ice cold, and the flush didn't work. I asked the host to look into the issues after the first night and they addressed it quickly, but even with both lights working the bathroom was still dark (and dirty). The kitchen was small and inadequate, without even a tea kettle or microwave to heat water for tea. Overall - this property was not what was advertised, and not worth what we paid for it. I would say save your money and stay at a more established hotel.

Ho trovato questa struttura sul sito di Bed & Breakfast Italia, ad una pronta risposta del gestore ho confermato la prenotazione consapevole di essere al quarto piano di un palazzo senza ascensore e che la colazione non sarebbe stata servita. Ciò che ho scoperto una volta fatto il check-in, era che non ci sarebbe stato alcun servizio di riassetto della camera e/o dei servizi igienici per i 5 giorni di pernottamento. Non un grave problema ma avrei preferito saperlo prima della conferma. L'assistenza è completamente assente, altro elemento insolito per un bed&breakfast. Il deposito bagagli è un servizio che viene offerto solo all'arrivo; dato che il check out è previsto per le 10 -10.30 abbiamo pagato 26 € ad un'attività esterna di deposito bagagli per poter visitare la città fino alle 16.30 ora di partenza del ns. treno. L'appartamento,a suo tempo, è stato arredato con gusto e cura ma nel tempo, sono mancati gli interventi di rinfresco delle pareti e dei sanitari e dell'ordinaria manutenzione. La sommaria pulizia della cucina ci ha indotto a non usufruirne del tutto. Senza dubbio l'ubicazione della struttura rappresenta il punto di forza perchè centralissima: 100 metri da via S. Gregorio Armeno, via dei Tribunali (dove si trovano note ed ottime pizzerie e friggitorie) e dall'ingresso della Napoli Sotterranea. Una posizione strategica per vivere la Napoli del Centro Storico. Sull'appartamento, non bisogna avere però grandi pretese perchè le fotografie che si trovano su maisonsdecharme it - dove si trova anche la Dimora dei Giganti, appartengono al passato; le aspettative di charme vengono disattese. (Le foto vogliono essere solo dimostrative di cosa intendo per 'sommaria pulizia e attenzione')
