This was the most superb location, friendliest staff and the most amazing food ever! We were treated like royalty. The homemade food was plentiful and delicious. Having coeliac disease is usually quite stressful when travelling... not here, I was treated to some many home made gluten free treats. GF pancakes and bread for breakfast, gf cake, gf rice noodles. The whole family ate three course meals for breakfast lunch and dinner. The quality of the food was outstanding. The chef is so skilled and thoughtful. Carol was wonderful and looked after us brilliantly. It was a treat to meet Dea and hear about her fascinating life. The grounds were stunning. So many birds qnd butterflies. Hopoes, suberb starlings, ibis and many more came to visit. Our children loved the pool, the football and we all played badminton!! We would definitely come back in a heartbeat! Had an amazing stay at Dea's gardens, a home away from home!Lovely comfortable rooms, delicious home made food with such a varied menu. Dea and her staff were so friendly and helpful. The perfect base from which to explore the area.

This home turned guest house is a quiet hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Naivasha town. The main house has a couple of rooms and there are two cottages in the beautiful garden. Pros: - quiet, charming a**osphere - good food and service - located close to Hell’s Gate NP and Crescent island Cons: - shared upper bathroom in the main house needs a renovation

The most disappointing accommodation in our 2-week safari. - Nice garden (and bonus points for the friendly dog Kelly!) - Convenient location as close to boats to Crescent Island - Poor value at $200+ - the room was very basic/aging, clearly in need of renovation - Main house where we had meals (and where owners live) was a lot nicer however - Packed lunch was not sufficient: we were starving by 4-5pm!

Our stay at Dea's Gardens was so restful after nearly a week of early safari starts and long truck rides! It was like coming home when we arrived at Dea's. The house and the gardens are beautiful. The welcome from Dea, Caroline and Thomas was so lovely and the food was wonderful. Our children loved relaxing by the pool after a cycle or boat safari. Thank you Dea's Gardens!

We had a great experience staying at this beautiful tranquil relaxing home. On a week long safari we stayed here for two nights - welcomed by extremely friendly staff , the rooms were spacious and clean and we so enjoyed the beautiful gardens, the flowers and the birds. We ate breakfast on the verandah and enjoyed a fabulous home cooked dinner each evening in the Dining room. We felt made very welcome by Dea and her team and would thoroughly recommend staying here - would be a great place for a few day’s relaxation.
