I like the access convenience to the beach. Its a very quiet area which i look for that. I go to bed and rise early, thus a quiet area is a must. I am on the fence about the check in, as their is little to no staff. Its all done online which is a very smooth transaction, it's just strange to not see anyone in the office.

This hotel was definitely false advertisement it’s nothing like the pictures shown.cracks and holes in the wall mold in the bathroom thin sheets no Comforter a piece of the sink missing.I was definitely disappointed and will not stay there again will not recommend either.

The location couldn’t be beat. We chose this location because it allowed our dogs. We were the only ones in the building. We had the king bed with a couch which provided tons of room for beach chairs and other overpacked items. The room smelled clean and had plenty of toiletries. There was only one washcloth, hand towel, and towel per person. We tried to call to pay our pet fee at check in because there is no office personnel on site, just a number to call. No one answered. On two different occasions, someone came into our room. There is no door latch, so if you don’t turn the lock (like the one on your bedroom door at home), your door doesn’t automatically lock. The cleaning people unlocked our door the second time. The pool water wasn’t clean so we didn’t use it. If pets weren’t part of your stay, I would choose a different place to stay.

Hidden gem. Perfect for a retiree on a budget. Quiet neighborhood across from a lovely park and direct beach access. Free parking. No resort fees. It checked all the boxes for me.

Room felt dirty, tub was dirty, not enough toilet paper for 2 day stay, no housekeeping to empty trash or get more towels. Its on the beach which was convenient. No front desk so no one to assist with any issues.

There was no front desk at all you could only call or text someone to have them contact maintenance to bring you what you need and they had to use a translator app to speak to us. And the app kept messing up so we had to repeat ourselves several times. They were pleasant but it was a struggle. No information in the room at all and after several back and forth about things we finally found out they don’t clean the rooms every day. We think our room wasn’t clean when we got there. Even though the towels and bath mat were folded up and placed nicely none of them were clean but the ones they brought us were. There was no info on what to do with our trash or dirty towels or check out of any kind.

Nice day at the mermaid Inn was perfect for the few days I was there. The staff was wonderful. I would definitely stay there

Dogs are aloud so we had a night with a lot of barking. The doors aren't completely closed at the bottom so bugs can get in. Drawers and carpets weren't clean. Sheets weren't white.

It waa clean, easily accessible and allowed my dog. Located right on the beach which was supwr awesome with having to bring a 4 year old and all her beach needs. Just a quick drive from the boardwalk too.
