John Hunter Motel

THis was my second stay. This time I had a walk in shower instead of over the bath...... winning. I was away from the Hwy noise...... winning. Last time room service was amazing, hot and fast; this time it took the kitchen an hour to tell me they couldn't make my order so I had a burger instead (another 20mins) It was tasty but the fries on the side were cold and nasty. I did receive an apology and a couple of ciders.... nice. I will keep coming back but hope the kitchen has its act together next visit.

I remember when this was a top motel. My room seemed like it was dragged out of moth balls to be used. Continually running cistern broken power point in the bathroom and only one glass.

The hotel has good potential but needs more maintenance and attention to detail.

The pool looked good, everything else looked like it hadn’t had money spent on it for more than 20 years. The Shower broke, faulty locks on doors, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, a dial radio from the 70’s, cabinetry past it’s serviceable lifespan, etc. The staff were trying their hardest, but it looked like they had no support or investment in training. I won’t be back.

Would liked to have stayed longer.A few minor problems,but a most enjoyable stay

don't bother, waited over 80 minutes for burnt fish calamari and both cold

Remote with used batteries. Bathroom door does not lock. Internet connection dropping out

Quiet, excellent staff, convenient to where we needed to be.

Felt safe. Great dinner at the restaurant. But no milk in the bar fridge and I called the next morning to ask for some and there still wasn't any when I got back from work.
