Perfect in Every Way Our stay at Drei Berge was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Rida, the incredible manager, his wife, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The hotel itself is stunning—its Swiss-centric mountain decor is both stylish and cozy, creating an atmosphere that feels effortlessly luxurious. Every detail, from the crisp, comfortable sheets to the relaxing sauna, is thoughtfully designed for a perfect stay. The food was outstanding, with a delicious breakfast spread, excellent coffee, and incredible local wines that made every meal special. Every bite felt like a celebration of Swiss flavors. Drei Berge is a true gem, where exceptional service, breathtaking surroundings, and impeccable attention to detail come together seamlessly. We can’t wait to return!

This is just the funkiest throw back hotel around! It is quaint and seemingly thrown together with authentic 60's paraphernalia and furniture. While you're spinning LPs in the great room, you can grab a swimming pool sized martini and watch the world go by. The room lighting left a bit to be desired because it was too dark for me to read, but I was exhausted from hiking the beautiful countryside, and forgave this niggling discomfort. The innkeeper was like super spinning dervish, hopping from hosting the restaurant, jumping behind the line to cook up the (yummy) vittles, to running over to greet folks at the front desk and make sure everyone's transportation was arranged. Someone needs to give that man a vacation - at a super funky fun hotel like this! Go. It's not like anywhere else you've ever been or stayed.

This hotel has a fabulous setting with a wonderful view from the large terrace where drinks and food are served. The decor is unusual and would more at home in Shoreditch than the Swiss alps but the rooms were comfortable. We had ground floor rooms opening onto pleasant green areas with seating. The young staff were very friendly and in particular went out of their way to make two special teas for our daughter when she was unwell and to locate paracetamol from their own supplies. However, the restaurant is poor. The (Italian) menu was extremely limited consisting mainly of pizza (which was unavailable on the two nights we stayed) and a handful of very basic pasta recipes, at vastly inflated prices. The Japanese food noted by previous reviewers was not in evidence. We would recommend going elsewhere for dinner.

Funky decor, beautiful views, convenient location. Cable cars & train station very nearby. No elevator (I think). Distinctive toiletries. Comfy bed. No TV in bedroom. Amazing fondue at dinner. Adequate breakfast. Pleasant staff. Efficient baggage transfer for hikers.

Due to flooding, our 2 night stay became 4 nights. Can’t say enough about the wonderful warm staff at this hotel. From front desk folks Caroline and Alex, to Micaela and the other wait staff, they were all fantastic and so so helpful. The rooms are fine, 3 star, and comfortable. Great hot sauna and they fix you up with water, towels etc. Highly recommend this hotel!

We loved this hotel. It was so charming and beautifully and stylishly renovated very recently. They thought of every detail. The views right from the hotel are unreal, among the best we’ve seen, and the food and service were fantastic. Nothing better than a day of beautiful hiking followed by a drink on the deck overlooking the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. We cannot wait to return!
