I would highly recommend the hotel. The facilities are first class, with a training pool, leisure pool, gym and locked bike storage. The food is excellent. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. The design of the hotel is lovely and it is immaculately clean. There is nothing that I can think of that I would have wanted different. We came for a cycling trip.

Thank you Las Gaviotas for hosting us, the location, room, service and food were amazing as usual. Only I would appreciate the manager to enforce some rules, at least by signs e.g. being calm in spa, using towels in sauna, not wearing beach-wear during dinner, don't bring your own bottles to restaurant, don't take away food/beverage for the day...it felt like a basar sometimes

Excellent hotel and base for a cycling holiday. The staff were great, the rooms really clean and comfortable, and the facilities excellent. The half-board deal was excellent value and the food plentiful, varied at each meal and delicious. I will return.

It is the third time I go, and it is always wonderful. As a former horeca worker, I particularly appreciated how joyful the chefs are, they are joking all the time, it must be a pleasure to work there, I love the atmosphere. And the food variety and quality is top notch - but that I already knew. Bravi!

Overall a clean hotel and comfortable bed and large room adn very friendly staff. Unfortunately, though it said mini bar, the only thing was one bottle of water per person for our entire 4 day stay and no coffee or coffee making facilities in the room. We ended up buying a kettle and slow drip coffee bags to be able to have cup in the mornings. The breakfast area felt like a boarding school eating hall with no ambiance or anything to make it feel like a holiday. While we had a room right by the pool, there was a constant humming sound - assuming the pool pump. When we complained about it, we were told they would do a walk around a see - nothing was done about it.

The pictures didn't represent how it really looked like. It's definitely not a 4 star hotel. It's a hotel without charme. Some of the stuff from the reception were really unfriendly. They tried to downgrade us from a premium suite with pool-view to a normal double room on the side of a busy and noisy street. We had to discuss to get our booked and payed room. At the end we got a room with pool side, but we got the ground floor und there was always a very stinky smell. The pool bar was only open till 18.00 pm. afterwards you couldn't enjoy a drink at the pool. The bar inside the hotel was very cold and not inviting to have a drink. We ordered for example two coronas and they only had one left. The restaurant was a catastrophe, it was like a factory-canteen and very loud. You couldn't even have breakfast outside as it shows on a picture. One morning there was a row of 20 people waiting to get breakfast. So you had to wait at least 20-30minutes to get a table. The fitness-room is very poor. No towels and disinfection spray. The room, the bed and the shower were good. We had a lot of space and a balcony with two comfortable chairs. The two pools were good. One is always very busy with a lot of children.

The best breakfast and most comfortable beds we have ever experienced. The premium suite room, bathroom and balcony were spacious, and spotless, A/C and wifi worked reliably, the pools were sparklingly clean and there were always some sun lounges available. Ask for a pool view room as the street side is quite noisy. Staff excellent. Breakfast starts at 8am so a coffee machine in the room would be an added bonus for early risers. Location top. We will definitely come back.

PROS: the hotel looks beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the breakfast buffet is great, the pool restaurant is surprisingly good. We loved having an adults only pool (no kids / music etc). The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is easy for the beach / cycling / day trips. Everyone there seemed to be having a lovely time. CONS: very few. A full length mirror in the rooms would be useful. The cleaners come round very early, so ensure you put your ‘do not disturb’ sign out if you don’t want to be woken at 9am.
