TH 코스타 레이 - 프리 비치 클럽(TH Costa Rei - Free Beach Resort)

We are leaving the hotel tomorrow. I was a bit worried about coming here after reading the bad reviews, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel grounds are very nice and it is right on the beach. They provide sunbeds and umbrella on the breach for free on your first day, and you will have the same beds for the rest of the stay. It means there is no fighting or blocking sunbeds and you don't have to get up early morning to find an available sunbed. It is the same with the tables in the restaurant, which is allocated for you so you don't have to look for a table every time when you go for a meal. The beach is really nice, where they also offer free kanoeing, which we used multiple times every day. The room is small, but adequate, and the A/C is good. The only complaint I would have is there was a smell of drain in the room, which didn't get better over the 5 days we stayed here. Also the safe didn't work in the room. The food is good, everyone should be able to find something to eat. The AI drinks are quite limited,it doesn't include wine at the bar, even though there is white and red wine available at dinner. There is a fridge in the room, so you could buy your own drink if you wanted. The evening entertainment is a hit and miss, some days might be good, others not so much. They focus on kids, which can be annoying for adults. Most people were elderly when we stayed here. The pool towels only get changed once for free, and you have to go back to the reception to change it. It should be a place next to the pool to change it, and most people would change it at least once a day. The staff is amazing and very helpful, even though there are limited staff members speaking English. They will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. All in all we had a great time, and I would come back to the hotel again.

I had a great experience at the resort. The food was terrific and varied, the beach and water were incredible and I found the service staff to be friendly and helpful. Maid service every day so things were always clean. Can't wait to come back!

Not a good stay! 1. The resort is outdated! The rooms are super small. We had a superior room and even the superior rooms are super tiny. 2. The pool closes 4 hours in the mid day. And there are NO sun umbrella next to the pool! Can you imagine no umbrella on the pool side??? Horrible ! And they don’t let you put the sun beds next to the trees l. There are no covers on the sun beds either! So you lie down on your towels without a mattress ! 3. The bar is limited to hours ! Don’t think you are coming to an all inclusive 4. You cannot change your towels! You need to pay 2.5 Euro to change your towels !!!! The good thing is that the sea is nice ! But nothing to do with the hotel ! The beach is sandy and the sea is wonderful but the hotel is not ! Save your money and go somewhere else !

CIBO DIREI PIACEVOLE NON DA 4 STELLE MA PIACEVOLE ALTRETTANTO NON POSSO DIRE PER I PRODOTTI SERVITI AL BAR ALL INCLUSIVE CHE SONO DI UNA QUALITA' COSI INFIMA CHE NON SI TROVANO NEANCHE AL DISCOUNT OLTRE AD UN UTILIZZO SCELLERATO DEI BICCHIERI DI PLASTICA (CHE PARE NON SIANO NEANCHE DIFFERENZIATI). MA LA NOTA PIU DOLENTE E' L'ANIMAZIONE CAPITANATA DA UN CAPOVILLAGIO COMPLETAMENTE ASSENTE E UN CAPO ANIMATORE MOLTO MALEDUCATO CHE SPESSO NON SOLO NON METTE A PROPRIO AGIO GLI OSPITI MA FA SENTIRE PROPRIO DI TROPPO E SCOMODI. ART GROUP E' UN LEADER NELL'ANIMAZIONE QUINDI SPERO SOLO DI AVERE TROVATO PERSONAGGI SBAGLIATI E MAGARI SUGGERIREI UN CERTO TURN OVER.

“TH is family”. Mai frase di una sigla fu più azzeccata perché è proprio così che ti senti al Free Beach Resort: in famiglia. Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura dal 24 giugno al 8 luglio e siamo partiti con la malinconia, segno di aver scelto il posto giusto! Ottima pulizia, facile accesso alla spiaggia, ottima ristorazione coordinata dal fantastico maître Tony sempre disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Il punto forte del villaggio è sicuramente l’animazione: i fantastici ragazzi, coordinati dal talentuosissimo Andrea Cuccu (show-men formidabile), dal simpaticissimo Nicola Calia (sempre con la battuta pronta) e dal fantastico maestro Alessandro D’Incecco (non solo grande musicista ma anche intrattenitore), ci hanno regalato emozioni INDELEBILI con i loro spettacoli meravigliosi (Rebecca e Aurora voci incredibili, Alice coreografa superlativa e grande lavoro di montaggio video, luci e audio da parte di Francesco e Freddy) e con la loro solarità, trasmettendoci ogni giorno la passione per il loro lavoro e facendoci sentire in famiglia. Un ringraziamento particolare allo strepitoso Niccolò (responsabile Sport), al simpaticissimo Samuele (contatto), al giocherellone Maurizio (responsabile nautica) e alla dolce Nicole (guest relations). Ottima anche l’assistenza TH in loco da parte di Marta, sempre presente e disponibile! Resort consigliato, ci torneremmo domani stesso!! Alex e Ugo

The Resort is well located and very beautiful even if a little dated. We decided to choose the all inclusive package after a careful check on internet and having spoken with some people which had the opportunity yo stay there with the old organization. Unfortunately the current company, managing the structure, bar and restaurants had decided to choose low quality products, from the typical Pecorino cheese to the Aperol of the discount shop. To that extent the results is embarrassing with low quality meals from the breakfast to the dinner. The restaurants are also full of flies which are all over the food... The cleaning conditions of the stands are under the standards. Regarding the people working there: Sardinian people are always wonderful Waiters and people working in the kitchen are young guys with no experience and not able to speak the local language, which is for the Italian tourists a dilemma. People working in the only Bar were most of all angry, nervous and unpolite. We booked for a 4 stars hotel but in total we received a 2 stars trea**ent which it is totally embarrassing and unacceptable. We will never consider the TH group.

We just came back after a week at the Fre Beach Costa Rei. The beach is amazing, the facility is nice with great potential. Unfortunately this year the quality of food was incredibly low. We had real difficulties in finding something to eat. Meat and fish were often left raw inside, pasta and rice badly cooked. Brought products not tasty. The buffet restaurant was full of flies on the food. Even the Spritz was prepared with fake Aperol... And the taste of course was not the same. A part of the staff was unprepared. The bar was not organised to properly serve the customers. Truly disappointing for a (supposedly) 4 stars hotel, with high price... Despite the all inclusive, we had to dine out for 3 nights to properly eat

Not near a 4 star experience. Food is average we ended up eating out at least once a day despite being on full board basis, rooms small and very dated, no WiFi nor up to date electric plugs, impossible to speak to management despite asking twice, sent also one email never had an answer. We also had to ask for a baby bath given without plug so not workable and no table on the little balcony so once we put our baby to bed we could sit on our chair and not even put a tablet or anything else, we had to ask for a table to be brought up and they did but weird this is not there as a basic service! For a so called family friendly hotel I didn't think it was great. Gym is there but 10 euros per entrance! Crazy. In comparison we are now in the north of Sardinia at a 4 star with same board basis and it is 200 euros less a week lovely food, free gym, WiFi included in the room, way bigger rooms and bathrooms... In any case I would not recommend this hotel to families or else.
