除了潛艇和水飛很暈，一切都很美好！

Perfection! We spent 7 nights at Joali and it was outstanding in all aspects, superseding any expectation we had. A warm arrival greeted us after a long journey and whisked to our villa by the wonderful Latheef, our jadugar (butler) who could not have looked after us better, he is a legend. All requests can be arranged via WhatsApp, which made our experience seamless. Our villa offered everything you could dream of from a plush bed, gorgeous view, private pool, sunbeds, hammock, platform to swim straight from the villa. The housekeeping were excellent and attended to us well throughout our stay. You have a choice of whether to cycle around the resort on your personalised bike or be escorted by your jadugar via buggy. One of our highlights was the food offerings, every restaurant served high quality / the best in the industry meals which are incomparable to elsewhere. We especially loved food created by Mehmet Sahim (at the restaurant Tu’hu), who organised the most delicious Turkish/ Mediterranean private treehouse dinner menu taking into account my dietary restrictions and was one of the best meals of our life, and when we attended the main Tuh’hu restaurant he also created a special offering for us. Aside from the food itself the locations of the restaurants were stunning and incredibly romantic (we stayed over valentines). The resort also offers a decent gym, great water sports / diving facilities and puts on daily activities for guests to enjoy such as cooking classes, wine tasting, sake tasting and crafts at a small surcharge. Honestly this is hands down one of the most magical and perfect hotels we’ve encountered, couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Maldives is the best palce for vacation to begin with. The hotel is beautiful and every villa has an amazing setup. Having your own butler taking care of all your needs for you was awesome. Big Thank You to our amazing butler Alex. The island is stunning with good choice of the restaurants. Beach buffet is another level) There are so many things to do around. You will not have time to get bored. The hotel was magical! We will come back!

The island is beautiful and the service is perfect, we had a water villa which was a Palace where we enjoyed overstaying day and night. Bicycle and buggy for going from one location to another are very convenient. I would say that I could compare this island to Cheval Blanc except that the complementary fruits (No cookies) in the room where not what you can expect at the level of prices that we are paying. The restaurants are just OK, not exceptional. Our butler Riyaz was absolutely perfect. Nevertheless we will not go back to Joali as we could not have a romantic peaceful dinner anywhere ,even at the pool, as the number of kids and babies is extremely high on the island. But of course it could be OK for people who don't care about that.

For what it’s worth to anyone that may be contemplating booking JOALI… I personally NEVER do reviews of resorts I stay at, until now of course, because in this circumstance—it’s so justified. Let me also state, as to place this review into context for anyone reading it, that I have travelled to 36 countries and visited over 400 destinations, staying at many high-end luxury resort property groups during my travels throughout the world, brands like—Aman, Soneva, Six Senses, One&Only, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La, Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and other 5-star resorts, yet never have I experienced the attention to minuscule details as I had at JOALI. We visited this haven during the middle and later part of December 2022, and upon arrival to their stunning seaplane jetty we were immediately greeted with a sense of what would continue until we finally departed… “unparalleled service and sublime luxury set within a tropical island oasis”. As to get a good appreciation for their array of accommodations during our stay we got the opportunity to try three different styled villas: 1st: 2 Bedroom Sunset Luxury Overwater Villa (Villa# 70) 2nd: Luxury Beach Villa (Villa# 20 - south side of island, near spa) 3rd: Beach Villa (Villa# 14 - north side of island with much more private beach with powder white sand and turquoise waters for swimming, in fact, our favorite within the beach villa category). Overall… all villas are MASSIVE, yet still feel very cozy, intimate and the sense of total privacy (both inside and outside of each villa). The decor is nothing less than chic, classy, tropical modern, with a clear feminine touch to all architectural and interior design elements—which gives this resort a unique sense of aesthetic completeness without the pompous, grandiose or sterile modern designs found in many other high-end 5-star resort properties. In addition, absolutely nothing looks rundown on this island, which unfortunately (even after a few years) can be evident in many other high-end luxury resorts within the Maldives. But where JOALI really set themselves apart to all other resorts I’ve stayed at, was within all the finer details they provided within their sublime villa spaces for you to enjoy, along with the exceptional service from every member of their entire JOALI team. Regarding these extra details found in each villa, I’m not talking just about basic essentials that should be found in all high-end properties like; cocktail bars, wine fridges, snacks, robes, welcome and bathroom amenities, etc., …but far beyond this like providing electric blenders, actual espresso machines, electric milk frothier (for lattes and cappuccinos), to styling flat irons (which my wife loved). Not least to mention, the bathroom amenities lotions and creams they do provide are beautiful on the skin and the scents… divine to the nose. Simply Amazing from arrival to departure. I have been to the Maldives 4 times now and I love this place. Great Staff , Great food, very clean and even one of the best massages I have ever had . The General Manger Shifaz Hassan was amazing, he gave us an upgrade and attended to our needs himself, he was very kind. Our Butler Yusri , was really great booked us everything in advance from restaurants, spa etc.. and got us everything we needed when we needed. I also loved the festive Christmas decorations, and the New Year’s party was lovely and fun! A luxury 5 star experience that you are getting what you expected and more. I would definitely go back.

Our Jadugar Viennie was very nice and all the activities were well organized by her. All the staff on the island were extremely friendly, which made us feel very comfortable. The coaches in marine centre were very professional and brought us a great experience in snorkelling extravaganza and turtle quest. A great vacation in JOALI！
