Mediterranee Hammamet- Families and Couples Only

I hinge a lot on a review and book a holiday using others experiences so i like to use true facts. So, it's a nice hotel, clean and well presented. Rooms are large, beds are comfy and air-conditioning works a treat. Staff polite and helpful. Food is plentiful, lots of different meats, fish and veg available. Salads and desserts. Breakfast is a colourful affair, yoghuets, pastries, fruits, beans, ratatouille, pancakes, omelettes, and a deepfried donut, my favourite covered in sugar! No chips or nuggets, which suits us we go to different countries to try different foods if you don't it may not suit you. Pools are clean and well kept. Salt pool is beautiful, second is used more for water polo, exercises in the water but still plenty of room to swim. Lots of beds, take your own towels. Hairdryers too if you need one, (some rooms do have them) but don't take the chance bring one. Drinks are ok, they use branded cola, sprite, tango. It's local spirits though and cocktails are non existent. Still lots you can do with what they do stock! There's nothing around the hotel of any interest. Taxi's are cheap around 6/10 dinar (£3.90) to Hammamet Medina. Very run down area, felt a little out of place. Locals buying apples from back of a car, personally wouldn't go back to Hammamet. (Yasine Hammamet is much nicer) Spa is good, they do an array of different treatments, barter for a good deal. Can get a bit chaotic when busy. Quad biking, there's a Facebook site Salma evolution 60 dinar (£15) much cheaper. Entertainment in the evening is pretty naf but it's the Entertainment team who does everything all day long. They are a likeable bunch. Music is on till around 11pm but hey hoe your on holiday! Sea area is lovely. Beds available. Gate is locked as it gets dark so walk around side of hotel for romantic walks on the beach. If you want a relaxing holiday, you cannot beat this hotel, that's what we did, relaxed, chatted, ate and drunk and read our books.

The personal are kind and friendly, the food is good, still the hotel needs to review some procedures. I booked all inclusive single room, I was shocked when I reached the reception as I'm a tunisian I'm not allowed for all inclusive, so they gave me the SOFT all-in with the same price as All-In. The room doesn't look the same as the pictures, they are much worse and badly reworked. Pillows and white sheets are not that clean, please check before sleeping.

Had a amazing time at this hotel. All the staff are very friendly and kind. Not many English people there but we was very well looked after . All the entertainment guys was amazing food was beautiful thanks for a lovely time

Very nice animation and beautiful place I like the vibes I also like the food I did lot of activities like gymnastics with Alex the goat I hope that I will come back again .

Ok, i always write an honest review so here goes. I will start with the entertainment team, they are amazing and work so hard, nothing is too much for them always chatted with me and my husband. Food was really good, so many different choices, no chips was missed, but the mashed potato was amazing, always something for everyone my husband is a very fussy eater but aways found something. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained, the hotel beach is stunning. The only downfall is the location, nothing much to do outside the hotel and very scruffy, we went to yasmin hammamt and much much nicer. Got the mention the rooms are spotless but very dated, the maids are amazing and work so hard. Just a note, a little tip to them and the animation helps them along the way. Beautiful place to stay, but wouldnt go back because of its location. Thanks so much to all the staff there. ABSOLUTLY AMAZING AND SURELY MADE OUR HOLIDAY COMPLETE. Kathy and Carl

We have just returned from this hotel and had the best family holiday we have ever had!! We were pretty much the only English people but that didn’t matter. We were treated like royalty by all staff and have never felt so welcome anywhere else. The hotel is beautiful and clean, and the grounds are constantly maintained to a high standard. The rooms are basic and although the much-needed air-conditioning worked, it wasn’t as cold in one of the rooms as the other but was ok. We have seen that the rooms have started to be renovated, however. The hotel is right on a stunning beach too which was great. There are pedalos and kayaks available at the end of the beach at a cost, but it was just too hot during our stay to go on them unfortunately. The entertainment team Simo, Manu, Nadhal, Bouba, Sofian, Omar, Ikram, Rima, DJ Joe and Chat (before he broke his leg) were amazing and feel like our friends! Their shows were brilliant; so entertaining and the activities were varied and inclusive of everyone of any age or nationality. I personally have never joined in many activities on holiday because I didn’t feel welcome but this year, I did everything – stretching, aqua aerobics, water polo, darts, beach Olympics, table tennis, Zumba, boules and dancing…. lots of dancing!! All because of the energy and motivation of the entertainment team to get you involved. The kids went to mini club daily by choice too because they loved it so much and even participated in a kids show one evening and a pool side dance display. Without this team, the holiday would not have been what it was! Well done and thank you so much everyone! The buffet food was really tasty, unlike a lot of all inclusive where it is often bland. We enjoyed trying Tunisian dishes too especially on their themed nights. Our young kids are very fussy even in the UK but there was always mash or sauté potatoes, pizza, plain pasta, French bread, fruit, salad and chocolate cake so they never went hungry. Breakfast offered omelette, pancakes, croissants and pain au chocolat as well as cereals and continental breakfast buffet. Snacks were available in the afternoon, but we didn’t need that. The restaurant manager Marook (not sure how his name is spelt, the gentleman with grey hair, who always wore a tie) and waiter Khedhiri could not do enough for us at mealtimes. Thank you so much. There is a good selection of drinks at this hotel compared to others in Tunisia and although the alcohol is not as strong as the UK (which we knew already), it was sufficient to have a good time! The bar manager Ali Jellibi and his staff at the main bar and pool bar were always quick to serve us, and our drinks were brought to us wherever we were sitting in the hotel. Thank you to all of you (sweetheart!!! 😊) The cleaners are also very friendly and work tirelessly all day and the rooms were always cleaned well, and the beds made with designs. We had a great week for the second time at Méditeranée Hotel Golf thallasso . Even if we were out of the summer season, the weather was okay, we had a lot of fun there. A huge thanks to all of the animation team : MANOU BOOBA PIKA NADAL CHAT SIMO AND DJ DJO , with their efforts for the many activities , games , shows, and thèmes , i wish them all the best . A big thanks to all the staff of mediterannée hotel who were lovely with everyone . We had the best time at this hotel and I would fully recommend. I did a LOT of research before booking somewhere to stay in Tunisia and this hotel stood out as a cost friendly but highly rated hotel. I was still slightly dubious due to some of the reviews below but I have to say everything was genuinely fantastic. Lovely and very well kept pool area and gardens - the palm trees even have little plaques by them which tell you their age and which country they’ve come from which was a lovely attention to detail. The beach was beautiful too and very clean and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Mohammed the life guard was our personal favourite! Only negative was one of the excursion representatives who was very rude and pushy and also tries to overcharge significantly so I’d just be somewhat aware of him (you’ll know who I mean!) The food was great - very varied and fresh with different themed nights such as sushi and of course a Tunisian night. There was lots of Tunisian food but also options for those who are less adventurous, such as pizza and potatoes. There were also stations with food cooked fresh to order which was lovely. The drinks were also lovely (very strong! ) and there was a small selection of cocktails. The evening entertainment was sometimes difficult to follow due to all of the languages they delivered it in but we still enjoyed it and the animation team were lovely, there were also lots of activities going on in the day which were offered but they weren’t pushy with them which was nice. Rooms were comfy and kept very clean, we had a lovely sea view. Overall, we had an amazing holiday and I would highly recommend a stay here, I couldn’t fault it.

Recently I traveled to Tunisia just to enjoy hotel was ok reception they re doing their best ,food was acceptable some waiters specially the young need to have training, big issue was housekeeping they enter to the rooms without permission his a man he don't have name tag or anything prove that his working it is dangerous please train this man
