물튼버러 인(Moultonborough Inn)

We stayed at the Moultonborough Inn for a few days in early December, when we were in the area photographing a wedding. This motel was an affordable option for us, and only 15 minutes from where the wedding was taking place. I can't say enough about our stay. The lobby was warm and welcoming. It was decorated nicely for the holiday, and soft Chris**as music was playing. The owner Donna was sitting behind the desk, and she too was warm and welcoming. We chatted a bit about the property, and after a quick check-in, she mentioned that there would be tea/coffee, oa**eal cups and homemade pumpkin bread available in the morning. Perfect! Our room was on the 2nd floor (there is no elevator), and was immaculately clean, modern looking and comfortable. Donna really put a lot of thought into the room not only with decor, but with providing simple instructions (for ceiling fan operation, TV operation, etc). There was a microwave, refrigerator, table for two, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, etc. Anything you could need or want, was there! The hot water was plentiful. Noise in the inn was minimal. We would HIGHLY recommend this motel, and look forward to visiting again someday soon!

I enjoyed my all-too-brief stay at the Moultonborough Inn. I am familiar with the Lake Winnipesaukee region, having vacationed in the area when younger. Was visiting family in Laconia, so chose this Inn not too far away. Alas, my departure from home was delayed, so I only had one, rather than the two planned nights at this Inn. During my time there, I just "chilled" and relaxed. Very comfy and cozy room, with a nice kitchenette. A grocery/convenience store is next door. Had "brunch" up the road at "The Village Kitchen" (I highly recommend). And what is a stay in Moultonborough without a stop at "The "Old Country Store?" Very cool. Many thanks to Doreen and Donna, and the housekeeping staff. Great hospitality, and tasty blueberry bread at departure! I hope to return in the future for a longer stay. Thank you!

The price was right. The person at the front desk was very warm and welcoming. When I asked about where to eat she told me of the of the best choices and gave me a printed list. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed slept well. The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud but that was a very minor thing.

Overall the property was clean and nice. The bed and mattress should be improved a lot. The bed made creaking noises with every turn and twist. We could hear people walking upstairs.

All very recently quality updated! Felt like we were the first to enjoy the room. Lobby nice & inviting as well the welcoming host. Old fashion motel updated nicely!

Clean, friendly, easy check in, reasonable price, near where I was hiking. I felt safe.

Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful in our selection with dinner and she made sure our rooms were perfect before we completed registration. And rooms were spotless and perfect for our visit

Room was comfortable and cozy and staff lovely. Also,loved the bottles of water for guest.

Small rooms, but completely remodeled recently, well done. Much nicer in the interior than the outside.
