뉴캐슬 하우스 호텔(Newcastle House Rothbury)

바, 비어 가든, 인도 레스토랑 음식은 모두 괜찮았지만, 호텔 방이 너무 낡았고 베개에서 냄새가 너무 나서 제공된 수건으로 덮어야 했습니다. 청소되지 않은 것 같은 냄새가 났습니다. 우리는 냄새 때문에 이불 밑에서 잠을 이루지 못하고, 옷을 입은 채 침대 위에서만 잤습니다. TBH 우리 둘 다 술을 마시지 않았다면 우리는 떠났을 것입니다.

Great bar not much to say there. There is a function room and a bar. The bar was small with music and good drinks. Average furnishings but clean and simple. Not yet stayed here but if we are up we may stay there but we are currently staying in riverside lodges which is a great park with 6 caravans all furnished beautifully and only across the water. Great bakeries all around and definitely worth a visit if you’re in Rothbury.

Some of the best real ales served in the north east. Nice bars serving good food. Modestly priced room for walkers right in the centre of rothbury. Sport shown in front bar. The staff are All very sociable keeping the best cellar for miles around.

Very warm welcome. Outstanding value for money. Got everything we needed from the stay. Staff were really helpful and gave us everything we needed. Had the dog with us and it was no problem whatsoever. Thanks so much, we'll hopefully be back soon.

Room and 'TV' room were freezing cold. TV had 3 controls, no instructions, changing channels would lose signal. No water in the water heater and no jug to pour the water in. All blinds in the TV room broken so had to eat my breakfastin the dark. Not clear on the description that the toilet was down the corridor. Temperature impossible to control in the shower so was dangerously hot or really cold.

Booked the stay for a cosy night away. Mattresses were stained, floor was stained. Window wouldn’t stay open. Room looked dirty. Booking said we had our own bathroom. This was down the hall and not in the room. Pictures were deceiving

Very good experience here. Well situated, clean, room was comfortable, the bathroom although was private is in a weird location, like 25 meters away from your room, and the water pressure in yhe shower kit was nil, we had to duck to have the handset lower so the water could come out. Other than that the bar has good beers, wine and snacks, and also an Indian restaurant, which to be honest the restaurant manager wanted to fool us, we ordered a plate spicy, like Indian spicy, and we got the super honey sweet option, we complained and he told us it was spicy but because we are Spanish we don't appreciated that taste, we informed him we livlve in Manchester for years, we know what spicy food is, so he came with a spicy sauce ramekin to pleases, I mean it's worth noting here, the hotel is worth-value-money except for the shower water pressure (which I could not inform the manager because I didn't see him again before leaving) and the hotel's restaurant indian manager/chef. Recommended, nice place.

The hotel was absolutely filthy and a horrid smell, staff along with the manager extremely unhelpful and ignorant. Booked in and out again within an hour of was that disgusting. Emailed the manager over 2 weeks ago, needless to say, no response forthcoming, speaks volumes.

Each time we visit the Newcastle we are always welcomed by the friendly staff, this time we had both of our border collies, one who is a recent addition to our family, he’s 5 months old now, we had the option to sit inside for our breakfast this morning but we chose to sit outside while the weather was nice, our breakfasts were presented in a pleasant manner and looked very professional, tea and coffee’s were exceptional too, carn’t fault anything from today’s visit , sorry I didn’t get the servers name but I did say I’d leave them a review praising them, we are looking forward to our next visit sometime soon
