더 플라우 인(Plough Inn)

3rd visit and this time had Sunday lunch! Wow! great roast beef ,loads of meat and a good veg side dish too! Were served by Sophie who was excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. This will be our new local when we move here! Fantastic and cannot wait to visit again and sit in the sunny beer garden!

2 adults 3 children. Meals were lovely. However beware when ordering children’s bangers & mash. It’s made with Smash not potato’s. Son wouldn’t eat it so brought it up with staff and chef basically said that’s how it comes!? No offer of something different. So he didn’t have a meal. Sorry but don’t advertise mash when in fact it’s smash!!

Absolutely brilliant stay at the plough with friends to celebrate a birthday. Rooms were really lovely, clean and great facilities. Great location for walks and beaches. Amazing breakfast in the plough, we all loved it. Would highly recommend the plough.

We stayed here for two nights. We were very impressed. The landlady, Holly, was very attentive and informative. The accommodation had all of the home comforts we needed. It's in a lovely area. The food in the restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced. Thank you 😊. We can't wait for our return.

2nd time we have stayed. Definitely stay again. Rooms very clean and comfortable, every thing you need. Breakfast excellent. Staff very helpful. Price includes breakfast and excellent quality. Thank you we will be back.

Had been to the local GA airfield for their Fly-in. Name of the airfield is Eshott Airfield. Chose the Plough Inn as it was reasonably priced & not too much of a drive. I arrived by car, so no idea how you arrive by bus or other means. Car park for about 15+ cars. Your car needs to be registered when checking in. Checked in at the bar. That was nice & smooth. I was allocated room 4, I think. This has a single bed, spacious. I had the usual TV (on wall) small work table and bedside cabinet. The bathroom consisted of a shower, sink and Loo. View from the room was of the back of the Inn and a flat roof. The bed was comfy and all the bed & bathroom linen was clean & fresh. I had my evening meal downstairs, large dining area which is the same area for breakfast. Both evening meal & breakfast was adequate. All the staff encountered where pleasant & willing to offer help/ advice if needed. Would go back if the need arises in the future.

We booked a stay in one of the rooms . They were inviting warm and clean I had a really good night's sleep . We had dinner in the bar and were looked after by Holly and ethan the pub owners and they were so much fun and really looked after us . We have booked for a festive now can't wait to visit again .

Very friendly and warm atmosphere, good wholesome food and great selection of ales and they really cater for dogs ( dog bowls, treats drying towels) good parking and easy access and reasonably priced

Breakfast only at 8.30am no good for people who start work at 8 am and not on website. Drainage smell in room bed uncomfortable, no where to check out in morning as all locked everywhere would not recommend.
