Very clean, the front desk was a friendly women and the lobby was beautiful

Property was in terrible condition. Stunk, dirty, looks like it had been cleaned in months. Lock was hanging off the door, no heat in rooms period, AC although not used, was busted. This looks like a place that would charge by the hour.

Had to wait for over 10 minutes before someone came to the front desk to check us in—that was only after I called the hotel phone. Room was comfortable and clean, but there was very loud shouting outside our room late in the night. Not a good experience for our kids.

The room was clean and had updated furnishings. But the towels were dingy and stained. Outside the property was less nice than the room. Trash cans overly full. Weird stuff like little bbq grills, shoes and bikes stored outside various rooms. Do people live here? Cars in lot seemly being repaired. Big commercial vehicles and trailers stored on site. Breakfast closed early. I went in at 9:50 and they said they only had coffee. I tried the coffee but it was cold. They didn’t care. No offer to make more. Just too lazy to be bothered I think. Cheap but still overpriced in my opinion.

Proprietor put us in a smoking room with king bed. Our reservation was for non smoking room with 2 double beds. When we arrived back later in the evening he had put another customer in the same room. Had to change rooms 2 more times and still found the entire experience completely unsatisfactory in every way.

No one there for checkout, left keys in container. Linens old, towels looked used, no extra blanket, old keys left in room. Refrigerator needed to be defrosted. Cost too much for this old facility. Was not worth staying there for 241.44 per night

PLEASE DO NOT stay at this motel. We have called three times to speak with the manager and we have been told multiple times that he would get back to us or he was on vacation. We made the reservation for a VT family weekend and paid 3x the value of the room. The room was dirty and unclean. The bathroom was moldy along the baseboards and the room and property looks worn out. There are cars on the property that are broken down and it appears that people are living long term in the rooms. The electrical outlets need repair as it seems like a handymen worked on it but didn’t finish his work. We didn’t feel unsafe but didn’t feel like the security of the property was being handled by the guests staying around the property. One more thing, when you walk into the motel office it smells like an ashtray. Not a great first impression. I would discourage anyone from staying here. If you have to stay here, because nothing else around is left, don’t pay more than $80/night.

We stayed at the property on parents’ weekend for VT so they (and every hotel in a 25 mile radius) were sold out. They originally assigned us to a room that clearly had been a smoking room and then some other noxious scent had been sprayed over top to mask the smoke. It was also dirty and had roaches in the bathroom. I was extremely grateful that despite being sold out they moved us to another room when we complained. The 2nd room was still…not great, but it did not have a smoking smell. Bring extra socks if you stay here, you will not want to walk barefoot on the floor. I am really not uptight about cleanliness but I won’t choose to stay here again—I’d rather have a longer drive to Blacksburg.

It was terrible, I was going to cancel my booking when we got there but it was non refundable. I saw a cockroach in our room!
