Very comfortable stay - all considered ! Had most of the communications with Diego. He was awesome ! So very comfortable to talk to ! I borrowed a bottle opener from him, but failed to fulfil the promise to return it the next morning. I retuned to Canada and will have to be indebted for ever to Diego !

Fantastic hotel and staff. Manuel and Diego went above and beyond for our group of 10 to get us restaurant reservations.

Stayed at this hotel on a Rick Steeves tour. Very friendly host who booked a great dinner for us. Room 16 was quiet and clean with a very small outdoor patio. In front of the hotel is a nice parch. We bought some wine at the market nearby and had a great time having cocktails with our travel companions.

First the good, the staff was friendly and helpful: upon checkout, they let us leave our bags with them as we waited for our time to leave the area. The breakfast was very good! Free parking. Ok, I need to vent a bit here. I knew this was going to be a tough stay when I saw the area with it being next to the train tracks. The walls were very thin and could hear everything. Like really really loud!!! The bathroom was very small and tough to move around. The beds were very hard. The shower was very small (but I loved the shower head that was a plus). The TV was ridiculously small and had 10 channels. I asked for a late checkout, was told no that someone was coming to stay in that room by 2pm and I needed to be out by 10am. Right before checkout (15 minutes before checkout) the maids were knocking on our door to clean it but we weren’t ready to leave yet because we were still packing. I’m not saying it’s a bad place to stay. If you’re on a tight budget, this place is probably great! It just wasn’t great for me.

This was my favorite of the 6 hotels we stayed in during a Rick Steves tour. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was nice. Breakfast was typical for Europe, quite adequate. The location in the new town was quiet, except for the train, but it didn't bother my sleep at all. They provide beach towels as well as bath towels because the beach is just steps away. If I were to return to the Cinque Terre, I would definitely want to stay here again.

L’Hotel Punta Mesco è un tre stelle situato a Monterosso, nella splendida cornice delle Cinque Terre. Si tratta di una struttura molto ben tenuta, pulita, ordinata. Le stanze sono di grandezza media, all’interno c’è tutto quanto serve, il bagno è ampio e funzionale, il terrazzino è attrezzato con tavolo, sedie e stendibiancheria. E’ posizionato a cento metri dal lungomare, nell’interno, ma in zona tranquilla, silenziosa, oltre la ferrovia. Stanze e zone comuni vengono pulite giornalmente. La colazione è buona: torte, focaccia, brioches, poco salato…..ma noi italiani preferiamo il dolce, quindi…… Il grande punto di forza è il personale: tutti disponibili, pronti ad aiutarti, simpatici, alla mano. Bravi tutti. Un ringraziamento particolare a Diego, sempre brillantissimo.
