First impression the resort was ok. Then to realize the rooms were not ocean view as indicated on the site and by employees. The room was pool view with slight ocean view. Food: the food was all cold to the palette. The food was cold everyday even when they had warmers under them. Based on the response from the employees there was no microwave to warm the food. The only hot food was soup whenever available. Bathroom: one sink that takes a long time to drain the water. The standing shower: the water strength was strong; but the bathroom looks like mold at the perimeters. There was nothing to hold the soap while taking a shower. The towels were scarce. The towels never smell fresh either. There was never a bathroom mat provided. I called for towels from 7:30 am and the order was put in for housekeeping. At 9:30 am I went to the front desk to put in the request again. The employee said it will be up soon and it never arrived until 11:10 am. I got there Thursday and left Sunday without the bed linen being changed. I knew it was not changed due to sand from the beach and my make up still on the pillow. The room constantly stink of **** and we are non-smokers. Just to see we had a door joining our room with space under and over it that allowed smoke from the other room to sip through. On the positive side we made the best of it with the employees that made sure we had a good time. The majority of them were courteous, friendly and just had a good vibes.

Employees at the buffet area terrible. Bartender at night at the jam rock bar awful. Servers were bad seems like they are never prepared to deal with the guest. Taking a shower water would flood the bathroom floor. You get attitude from all employees except the front desk staff they were amazing. The drapes in the room needs to sanitize as dust is very visual. The shower need a holder for bath soap or shower gel the little flies in the room made it hard to keep your stuff around nice and clean. Great location I give that a five.

Just to begin the list of complaints we have of this property. First the room had extremely low water pressure, water entering room from shower, non working lights, and a non refrigerated mini cooler. Secondly the staff showed remorse towards any simple request of drink, food, or service. It seemed like they didn’t want us to do anything. I don’t know whether they weren’t trained with customer service or simply were told by management to do this to limit requests. In an all inclusive resort at a pretty hefty rate there was much to be expected by even when expecting the bare minimum Decameron Cornwall didn’t reach the standards. The only reason I have written this review is because of the customer service. Me, my family, and friends came to enjoy Jamaica and its culture and to put it simply this resort has been a terrible way to remember this beautiful country and all it has to offer.

The staff has a bad actitud with the customers. Aren’t friendly. Not open to help or give all the information

This hotel was definitely not what we expected. The staff was rude. Any drink we asked for, the bartender in the pool area said he didn’t have and gave us attitude. There is only one area other than the buffet to eat and on their menu they had about 4 different options listed but for our 4 day stay, each time we went they said the only thing we could have was burgers and fries. For dinner, there was only one other place to eat other than the buffet and you needed a reservation. They said to make the reservation at 9 am and wouldn’t accept any time earlier than that. We showed up at 830 am and they said the restaurant was already all booked. So once again, we were misinformed. The beach area and outside were beautiful but everything else was so disappointing.

The front desk male supervisor was so friendly and helpful . The bell man dean I believe is his name was also so nice and welcoming helped us with our luggage to our room and made sure things were ok. One thing I must say is the rooms are a bit run down and the cleanliness could be better and needs improvement. Entertainment staff hilarious fun and always made it enjoyable . Food I would give it 3/5 but overall we enjoyed our stay .

Staff and guest services for entertainment and bartenders and coffee bar were excellent. Room location looking out over the bay wonderful. Pool bar and bartenders excellent and activities and shows amazing. Food was very good however mostly was cold or very limited. Sister property availability could have been explained better at check in. Tried to reserve sit down ala carte dinner for anniversary dinner but told full and not given any choices. Gift shop staff not too friendly except first visit there other times didnt want to accent credit card for payment. Loved the beach and again pool bar staff and games amazing.
