샌들스 몬테고 베이 - 올 인클루시브, 커플 전용(Sandals Montego Bay (Smb))

For the Butler room it was beyond expectations, small, a/c on its last leg, no ventaliation in bathroom caused heat and humidity. We have been to many other Sandals with a butler experience and this by far was the worst. We will not be staying here again.

Excellent visit. My wife and I have stayed at a couple of other resorts and this one had the best food. My wife has to be gluten free and they were very well prepared to be able to accommodate her with safe food to eat. All of the staff were incredibly nice and always wanted to take care of the guests of the resort guests. My wife and I ended up hanging out by the heated pool most of the time. That was our oasis for the week. The lunchtime options for food were excellent. We enjoyed all of them. My biggest complaint of the week came almost as soon as we walked in to our room. We purchased a "Crystal Lagoon Honeymoon Oceanview Luxury Room." My problem is that the room could best be described as "Oceanside." We did not really have a view of the ocean from our room. The room itself was very nice though. I wish Sandals would just clarify the names of the room to actually project what the view would be.

We just spent 10 nights here for our honeymoon and loved every second of it! I’m vegetarian and was worried about food options but I had no trouble eating at all the restaurants and the food was very tasty. We stayed in the crystal lagoon honeymoon butler suite and couldn’t fault it. Our soaking tub on the balcony was epic and our room (1007) had a perfect view of the piano pool bar and the ocean yet despite being central we were never disturbed by noise. Several staff members made our stay amazing and I’d like to personally give them all a shout out in the hope that the resort give them the recognition they deserve: Kaii - our wonderful butler! Kaii never failed to bring us a morning cocktail and she always brought me a veggie pizza without cheese for lunch. Thanks for the chats and teaching us about your wonderful country and for not being offended when we managed to walk right past you before dinner on our last night, we didn’t mean to I promise! Chris Elliot - you sir are a legend. Chris went out of his way to look after a sick kitten that I’d trapped, get him to the vets and get me an update on him before we left. He was also keeping an eye on a lovely ginger boy with bad eyes for me and was planning to take him to the vets this week. Thank you for everything that you do and for always stopping to talk when I saw you. Akeem, Stephen and Davion - you guys made our whole honeymoon! Every time you saw us at the swim up pool bar you mixed us up some great cocktails (the pink crush being my absolute favourite) and you made everything so fun. Thank you for always greeting us with a smile when we saw you and for making us feel like part of the club. You guys rock! We wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this resort as we both had an amazing time. Everything was clean and well maintained. The atmosphere was very chilled and we could always find a quiet spot or a party spot depending on our mood. It was our first trip to the Caribbean and to a Sandals resort and we will definitely be back.

We loved Montego Bay. We had a blast and we booked again. We had never been to an all-inclusive resort before and it was great.

Newly renovated, very modern and clean look to all the buildings. Our butler, David Love, is worth asking for! He was great!! Not only goes the extra mile, he’s very organized and tenacious in getting us the reservation times we wanted. Pool is a bit small due to the age of the resort but the beach is expansive with plenty of seating on the sand. Overall a great experience and very easy to get to. It’s directly next to the airport. Watching the planes take off and seeing vacationers wave from the beach added to the fun! (Jet noise is for 10 second intervals when they take off, minor inconvenience if any!)

Travel from Toronto to Sandals Montego Bay Our trip was from April 19th to April 26th, 2024 to Sandals Montego Bay. This was our first trip to this resort but we have been to other Sandals resorts. Travel through Airport Flight down was ok from Toronto. Due to a strike, there was no food served on the flight besides pretzels and drinks. Getting through the airport was simple. We applied for the online immigration form for Jamaica before leaving but only got a notice that it was accepted. No confirmation. They did not hand out paper forms on the plane. There were lots of QR codes to apply and we found out that is all we needed. You will scan your passport on a machine, get a weird picture then gather your luggage. Getting our luggage was quick and getting through the final Customs inspection was quick. About 20 minutes from plane to Sandals lounge. We were barely in the lounge to grab a drink and snack before heading to the bus. It was only 3 couples on the bus and 10 minutes drive to the resort. Arrival We were greeted with the cool towel and escorted to the Club Sandals lounge. We did the online check- in so we had no forms to fill out. We were given a drink and a little explanation for what we can expect. With arrival before 3 PM, we could not go to our room, so we went to the **** Shack for some lunch. Around 3PM, we came to get our keys to our room. We were escorted to RM 203. Nice room but looks out to the roof of Tokyo Jo’s. We were told our bags were brought to our room but one problem, they were not in our room. They didn’t know where they put them. Fortunately, my wife noticed 205 written on the tags so they checked the room and our bags were there. Fortunately, no one was in that room. We requested to stay in that room since the view improved (can see more of the ocean), our bags were already there and no one was booked for that room. They agreed with some prodding. Room We were in the Oceanfront Honeymoon Club Level Room w/ Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub (OFT). The room was nice. Not super big. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was large. The closet had lots of hangers and the safe was large enough to hold all our items. It was big enough to hold a couple of laptops if necessary. The room was cleaned every day. The turn down service was around 6:30ish every day. Most days there were inspirational cards on the bed. The fridge was not always restocked each day. We had to ask some days to get it restocked. Don’t know why it wasn’t, considering we walked past the people who were restocking the rooms. Since we are not big alcohol or beer drinkers, we asked for more water, juice and pop. The water were large glass bottles that were filled each day with stickers of the day on it. We like to drink some milk (yes, milk) in the evenings or for the wife’s tea and the Club Sandals group got us a couple of boxes during the week. On my way home from Sandals Montego Bay, we have been to many Sandals and all have been great, but the people here and our Butler David Love made this trip feel like royalty. We were oceanside by Latitudes close to the party pool. This resort has something for everyone and if you want to be pampered request David as your Butler. Can’t wait to return.

Montego Bay is far our favorite destination. We have been to a few Sandals Resorts but this resort was just the right size. the people were friendly, food was great and the water and beach was spectacular. We will definitely be back

Our 5th time at Sandals Montego Bay and our first time with a butler. The room in the Seagrapes building was beautiful and comfortable, which was a great start. Our butlers, Danesha and Asha, were very attentive and friendly and full of surprises. Danesha had all of our dinner plans mapped out for the week, we had reserved seats at the beach every day, Asha had a bubble bath waiting for us after Saturday at the beach, and they both kept the drinks and snacks coming throughout the day. If there has to be a downside, there was a spot on the beach where the water was murky and there were hidden rocks close to shore, but a few yards away the water was clean and clear. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and made this trip the best yet. We can’t wait to get back in 2026!
