Small hotel in Montalcino . The location of this place is quiet good : just at the entrance of the small town . The hotel offers parking space , but unfortunately they will cargo 5 Euros if you book your room through *******. Isn't fair to be penalized , but it's ok..Rooms are very clean . There is not a great variety for breakfast, but it is enough.Personally , I don't like the 10.00 AM check out .But , at the end , this hotel has a great value .

Wow, what an incredible hotel and experience in Montalcino! The hotel is beautiful and the service was excellent, we felt so welcome and taken care of. The pool and AC were refreshing on a hot summer day, the location is perfect, and the breakfast was great. We were so sad to only stay one night, we will certainly come back!

I stayed at this hotel for one week with my mother and we absolutely adored it. We woke up to spectacular, pinch-me-it-can't-be-real views every morning and honestly, any time of day it was amazing to look through our windows. The pool was wonderful with lots of space to relax around it. Private parking as well is a bonus in this city. The staff at this establishment were so very kind and accommodating. They exceeded our expectations of hospitality and were beyond wonderful. The room itself was always very clean and comfortable. There was a TV in the room but with how busy we were, we didn't need to use it! The city of Montalcino had so much to offer that we were out most of the day and this hotel was amazing to just unwind. There are other rooms in this hotel, but it is always so quiet that you wouldn't know there are other people there. It was incredibly serene. The shower had a rainfall setting which was wonderful. Their commi**ent to being eco friendly is also really lovely. The breakfast they serve is amazing! Croissants, cappuccino, fruit, prosciutto and cheeses were all delicious. Above all for us, the staff really shines here. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, incredible view, everything was perfect

What a wonderful night stay!! Elonera was amaing and made our experience brilliant. Nothing was ever a problem, she went over and beyond gave fantastic recommendations. Accomodation was basic but comfortable and had fantastic views! Breakfast was quite good. Highly Recommend

Very private and well located

Have just spent 4 nights at Hotel Vecchia Oliviera. Could not have asked for a more pleasurable stay. From the moment we arrived Eleanor who welcomed us at reception could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Recommendations for restaurants, days out and a wonderful wine tour and tasting. The rooms are very clean, the beds comfortable, air conditioning works well and an excellent location with a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. The pool and outside area are also a nice bonus as the weather was very hot! Fantastic views. The breakfasts were also very good with a nice selection of food on offer. Also the hotel has it’s own parking area. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The property was very well taken care of. The manager was thoughtful and kind and clearly strove for all to have an excellent experience. She helped me with my luggage, made Cappucino's for me, and hand-made excellent breakfasts in the morning. She did it all! It's more of a B&B which I liked, but also very quiet and private, despite being right off a busy section of town. You can walk right to the heart of quinte-owned shops and restaurants with true Italian authenticism. Wonderful short stay. I would note there is a steep driveway you have to go down to privately park, with a good flight of steel stairs that come back up so be sure to drop off luggage first and then go down and park. I recommend a small vehicle to for this area as all the streets are very narrow and turns are tight in typical Italian fashion.
