We stayed at in the little cottage for 2 nights and it was absolutely just what we needed! Beautiful mountain views, a deep bathtub for long soaks with their amazing natural products and the kids loves the hot tub outside. We will be back!

We had a stellar time. Serine accommodation nestled in beautiful scenery right at the foot of the mountain.

I was so glad i ended up at Kogman & Keisie afternoon just arriving with no booking. Joy was amazing, she made me feel so at home and was so enthuastic to help with whatever i needed. She made me the most delicious breakfasts, realy impressive. She is a real gem. Thank you Joy. xx

After a few months I returned for another great stay at the beautiful Kogman & Keisie in the picturesque town of Montagu. I stayed in the same room and once again experienced the beautiful view of the mountains. The breakfast once again were delicious and the interior of the room is beautiful.

Lovely bed and breakfast. Nice spot away from the town centre overlooking the nature reserve but within a 10 minute easy, flat walk to the town centre. Comfortable beds and nicely decorated rooms. The owners hand made toiletry products were divine. Delicious home cooked breakfast. The pool was small but perfectly adequate and nicely shaded by lovely trees. Great service from Rene and Paul who were super helpful in guiding us to places to visit and booking restaurants on our behalf.

This is a lovely place to stay in Montague but its a bit pricey for what it is. Despite it only having 5 rooms, we were taken to the wrong room upon arrival. The room we were allocated afterwards was fine but with the temperatures in this part of South Africa I would recommend an airconditioning for each room instead of a fan that just doesn't do the job in the soaring temperatures. The cosmetic line that is sold in the shop, is excellent and a recommended buy. Breakfast was good also and mostly prepared a la minute. The pool is minute and unfortunately the second pool was not open during our stay as the damage of the property following recent floodings had not been repaired. Please make sure to follow the route instructions given by the property instead of following you car navigation!

Short but very pleasant stay in this guesthouse. Rene, the manager was very welcoming and helpful. The place sells their own products and it was lovely to have these quality items supplied in rooms (shower gel, shampoo etc.). Would recommend.

The farm guesthouse is a very nice accommodation at the edge of Montagu. We felt very welcome and everything was clean and fresh and well maintained. Due the big storm some weeks before our arrival the farm had been flooded and this part of the experience could not be enjoyed. Hopefully they will be able to be fully back in business very soon. We wish them all the best! From our room (with great beds) we had a beautiful view on the mountains. Althought the last bit of the access road was narrow and made of gravel we did not have any trouble with that. The only disadvantage of it is that you always have to use a car to get to town. One last remark is about the wifi which did not work well in the room. But for the rest a great place to stay with a warm and friendly manager taking good care of us.

A classic old European-style farm building, set in dramatic South African landscape, with a great breakfast. Add the interest of an organic farm, and this all makes for an unusual and interesting visit. Far more than just a place to spend the night! A bit idiosyncratic, as all old farmhouses will be, but that adds to the romance of the place.
