My impression is that this is a hotel that is strongly focussed on the wedding business. Arriving as a non-wedding guest, it all seems a bit empty, with large top table, huge catering kitchen and spaces catering for large groups, which contribute to a poor a**osphere in the hotel. Hotels can be either hospitable or exploitive, and in this case, it was hard to see much evidence of hospitality - charging 5 euros to borrow a towel at the pool, no English version of their spa trea**ents, and general shrug of the shoulders as a response from several staff. At the restaurant, we were offered the wine we ordered after we had finished our meal. Positives are the great views of Monopoli, and clean rooms.
