We have just spent 5 nights in north & east France in 5 different hotels, all of ‘apparently’ similar quality and the comparison has been quite interesting. This Campanile was mid-range of the 5 price-wise, but given the appalling accommodation, it should have been half the price. The other Campanile we stayed in was cheaper and had far better accommodation. We have stayed in many Campanile’s before, in France and UK and usually find them good value for money being basic but clean - this one was the exception. It was the worst room we’ve ever stayed in - it was dark and dank with dirty floors and damp bedding It was very cramped with barely room to get between the twin beds. In fact had it not been late we might have left and found somewhere else. The website photos must have been taken years ago, as it looks run down now, with far more vegetation close to the building, crumbling concrete stairs, and a general greenish layer on the “white” facade. Inside there was chipped woodwork, stains, peeling paint, clips on wall for a mirror but no mirror - presumably broken and not replaced. There was mould growing on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom bin had not been emptied after the previous occupant, which was very unpleasant. The WC was stained and the seat didn’t fit the pan. The hotel is in a poor location close to busy A31 road and in area of noisy light industry and derelict land. Breakfast began fairly well with a reasonable selection of food and a couple of staff members available for restocking and help with the temperamental coffee machine. Suddenly there was an influx of about 40 rather ill-mannered teenagers on a coach trip - within seconds there was no food left! As we left the hotel there was a queue for checking out as many other guests were complaining!!

I had no good experiences during my visit in Pont a Mousson due to business trips. I don’t advise this hotel to anyone Actually, no english speaker in this hotel. Therefore , you should be carefull while you are visiting to this hotel No good hospitality I met during my visit I am Behzat Çetin who came from Global Company for Business Meeting with French Companies

We used to travel through France for years, always staying in Campanile. After a ten years break I tried again - unfortunately it was a big disappointment: especially the food that used to be very good, was poor in choice as well as quality! The rooms were ok, but a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in both NON SMOKING! rooms.

J’ai séjourné une nuit dans cet hôtel dans le cadre d’un déplacement professionnel et mon expérience a globalement été positive. L’accueil lors du check-in, vers 19h, a été rapide et efficace. Le personnel est agréable et disponible. L’établissement est situé à proximité d’un axe routier et de quelques habitations, mais l’isolation phonique est excellente : grâce aux doubles portes, aucun bruit extérieur ne m’a dérangé pendant la nuit. Côté confort, j’ai été un peu déçu par la literie. Le matelas et les oreillers sont assez fermes et peu confortables, ce qui rend le sommeil moins réparateur. Le petit déjeuner, en revanche, est une très bonne surprise : il offre un choix varié et de bons produits, le tout accompagné d’un service attentionné et souriant. En résumé, c’est un hôtel très pratique pour un séjour professionnel, calme, bien situé et avec un personnel agréable. En revanche, je ne le recommanderais pas forcément pour des vacances ou un séjour en famille, en raison du confort limité de la literie.

Propreté peu mieux faire. Poussière au sèche cheveux, télé et sa télécommande poussiéreuse ainsi que la bouilloir. Serviettes de bain propre mais à fait son temps.

Correct Chambre un peu dépassée mais correct dans l'ensemble pour le prix
