Beautiful newly renovated property. Rooms very nice, public spaces posh. Food was fine. Buffet breakfast is very good, a la carte dining fine. Plenty of choices for a long weekend. You’d need a car to visit other restaurants, or a cab. Pool and beach among the nicest in Tunisia. Certainly in Monastir. Live music outdoors was a nice touch for evening entertainment. Service is friendly and good. Maybe not quite five star, but maybe they’ll get there! One thing to be aware of, unusually they have a tip line on their checks in all outlets. Meaning, you think you can leave a tip for your server and charge it to your room or a card. It’s an American brand, and that’s what we do. BUT we were told by a everyone we asked that the employees actually don’t get the tips! That’s really terrible and I’d like Hilton to be aware. Take the tip line off, you’re acting like the guest is tipping and in fact the money goes ? Corporate coffers? Overall, best choice in Monastir, followed by Iberostar Kuriat.
