D 커낼 하우스 후기

너무 좋아서 2틀 이용했어요.

이 홈스테이는 정말 아름답습니다. 골목 안쪽에 위치해 있지만, 시설은 매우 세심합니다. 프런트 데스크에서 해변 근처 레스토랑으로 갈 수 있도록 툭툭을 불러줍니다. 호텔 전체가 운하 바로 옆에 있어서 발코니에 다양한 새들이 있고 야생 공작새도 찾아옵니다. 시설과 장비도 아주 새것입니다. 유일한 단점은 운하와 매우 가깝다는 것입니다. 밤에 비가 오면 빗소리가 정말 시끄럽습니다. 작은 벌레들이 방을 찾아오기도 하지만, 단점이 장점보다 더 클 수는 없습니다. 아주 좋은 숙박 경험이었습니다.

방은 깨끗하고 서비스도 좋았어요. 아침에는 원숭이들이 곳곳에 보였어요. 아름답고 편안한 호텔이었어요. 다음 휴가 때는 며칠 동안 조용히 머물면서 서핑도 하고, 물놀이도 하고, 좀 더 여유로운 시간을 보내고 싶어요! 모두가 아침 식사로 먹은 랑카식 군만두를 칭찬했어요.

고래 관찰을 위해 미리사에 있는 이 호텔을 선택했습니다. 콜롬보에서 비행기를 내려 호텔에 도착했을 때는 좀 늦은 시간이었습니다. 저를 맞아주고 방으로 안내해 줄 웨이터는 단 한 명뿐이었습니다. 위치는 찾기가 쉽지 않았지만, 들어서는 순간부터 놀라움을 금치 못했습니다. 푸른 식물이 가득한 넓은 안뜰과 수영장 같은 느낌이었고, 객실은 매우 깨끗하고 은은한 조명이 돋보였습니다. 발코니에서는 아름다운 경치를 감상할 수 있었습니다. 아침에는 끊임없이 새소리가 들려 시간 가는 줄 모르고 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 다음에는 꼭 이틀 더 묵으며 이 호텔을 경험하고 싶습니다.

호텔이 정말 마음에 들었어요. 모든 게 최고였어요! 직원들도 정말 친절했고요! 정말 아름답고 아름다웠어요!

房間乾淨，有特色

솔직히 말해서, 제가 묵어본 곳 중 최고였어요. 정말 불평할 게 하나도 없었어요! 모든 직원들이 최선을 다했고, 놀라울 정도로 친절하고 성실했어요. 저희는 오두막집에 묵었는데, 규모가 정말 컸어요. 주방도 완벽하게 갖춰져 있어서 점심을 만들기에도 좋았어요. 침대도 편안했고, 욕실도 넓었고, 조용하고 고요했어요. 수영장도 이곳의 또 다른 장점 중 하나였어요. 항상 깨끗하고 조용했어요. 알고 보니 본관 건물 위에 오두막집 3개와 객실 3개밖에 없어서, 가끔은 온통 집이 독차지된 것 같은 기분도 들었어요. 다른 분들이 말씀하셨듯이 해변까지 걸어서 15분 거리지만, 전혀 문제없었어요. 걷기 귀찮으시다면 무료 툭툭을 타고 큰길까지 갈 수도 있어요 ;-) 아침 식사도 맛있었고, 특히 아침 식사 담당 직원이 제가 먹어본 오믈렛 중 단연 최고였어요! 라히루, 밀란, 아침 식사 담당 직원분(정말 죄송해요, 이름을 잊어버렸어요)과 다른 모든 직원들이 정말 최고였어요. 정말 감사합니다! 꼭 이곳을 예약하세요. 후회하지 않으실 거예요! 이곳에 별 5개 미만을 주실 생각조차 없으신 분들은 거울을 보세요 :-)

What a find and we highly highly recommend this wonderful place. We were so lucky to to stay in the Sunrise room and watching the sun rise was a truly magical experience and never to be forgotten, The staff were unbelievably brilliant and a big shout out to the Manager and “Chef” who made our stay so memorable - thank you Guys you are stars and an absolute credit. Don’t hesitate to book.

The accomodation is set in stunning grounds. We stayed in the Whatsudda Bungalow and it is very impressive. Spacious room with great facilities and a really comfy, large bed. The air con is also fantastic at this hotel. The staff met us with a friendly smile and could not do enough for you, always on hand to assist with any queries in a timely manner, and arranged free TukTuk to the main road at request without any issues. I marked this stay 4/5, as the only downside was that it was really noisy, particularly in the mornings. Constant (every morning) maintenance work being carried out, sounds of hammers, drills etc, which woke us up really early. Maybe it was just where our bungalow was situated but it disturbed us every morning. Other than that i would recommend for a pleasant stay, I believe the cost was okay value for the area.

My partner and I had a great one night stay at the D Canal House. The manager is amazing! He is on Whatsapp and will send you lots of information to make the most of your stay. You can also contact him this way to get a free tuk tuk onto the main road. This saved us lots of time and was very convenient. The pool is also amazing! It was so warm, clean and peaceful. We had birds and fire flies entertaining us in the evening. The entrance and gardens are also amazing which lead to the main house. It felt a lot higher end than we were expecting. Free drinks and butter cake (which was great!) are available in reception which was a nice touch too. The bathroom was stylish and had everything you needed. I would recommend D Canal House.

A truly wonderful stay for us, with a beautifully prepared room, fantastic pool, outstanding breakfast and all the little touches and gestures that define a great hotel and staff. We absolutely loved our three nights here and are very grateful to Milan and his team for always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Wound highly recommend this beautiful establishment.

The approach to D Canal House might mislead but the warm welcome on arrival was only the very beginning of a three day stay that excelled on every count. What a beautiful place! Lush gardens and a lovely pool area and so peaceful!! A seamless check-in and we were shown to our bungalows. So artfully decorated and with all the mod cons. Spotless and comfortable with a huge well- appointed bathroom with a vast array of high-end toiletries. Breakfast is spectacular, the staff are amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them and I’m running out of superlatives….. If you’re planning a break in Sri Lanka, put Mirissa in your itinerary……. and D Canal House!

This place feels special from the moment you step into the property. It is set in beautiful surroundings about 15 minutes walk from the Main Street (but they provide a free tuk tuk there) around a lake/pond that is teaming with wildlife. The pool area is stunning and absolutely spotlessly clean. Lahiru and team really made us feel at home straightaway. He even provided his WhatsApp number and was on hand with any questions we had - first class service. We stayed in Bungalow Hibiscus which was like a suite at exceptional value for money. Finally, the breakfast was outstanding with a mix or Sri Lankan and western food. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. If you come to Mirissa you simply have to stay here 🤗

The accommodation was perfect and the surroundings so peaceful .. we spent time just relaxing by the pool. The service was outstanding and they were so helpful even organising an amazing trip along the canal with a local fisherman. I would absolutely recommend
