미들타운 2성급 호텔

로비는 매우 밝고 아침 식사는 매우 풍부하며 실제로 아침 식사는 가격에 추가 요금이 부과되지 않습니다. 객실에는 발코니가 있으며 주차가 매우 편리합니다. 호텔 주변에 슈퍼마켓이 있으며 ATM 기계와 청도 중국 음식이 있습니다. 사랑 장소, 정중하고 좋은 서비스 여기에 satffs, 나는 다음에 다시 머물 것이다.

This is a quaint and charming building. The 2 king room was large and perfect for our group of 3 ladies. It was nice to have the extra space of the sitting area. Furnishings are fine but not fancy, beds comfy. The bathroom could use a renovation, saw a hole in the wall above the shower. The exhaust fan in the bath, which is connected to the lightswitch, sounded like a jet engine! Probably should be replaced, and a separate switch provided so you can use the bathroom at night without waking everyone. Lots of space at the sink and plenty of mirrors for getting ready. We enjoyed the breakfast - nothing fancy but lots of options and loved the wooden trays to carry up to your room, nice touch! We all loved the Jamaica Me Crazy coffee, and wouldn’t have even tried it but our host, Keith, introduced us to it upon arrival. He was a wealth of information and very hospitable! Awesome welcome from him, great restaurant recommendations, too. Big standouts here were the huge room and free parking. Quick drive to most sights.

Booked a handicap room and had it stated in my email and it was given to another guest instead. As of that we where put on the second floor. I'm on a cane with limited mobility and also use a scooter as well. My mother is also on a cane and my father has heart problems. Because of this we where only able to barely able to get up the steps so we only got to do half of what we went for. Also because of this I wasn't able to charge my scooter so I only had limited battery life. Also couldn't shower and need my parents to get me off the toilet. Floors uneven trip many times. There's a three inch step down to the room and my father triped there resulting in a hairline fracture in his wrist. Horrible place. Then choice only refunded me half my stay. Never will I come to a choice hotel.

Overall: A safe, clean, quiet option when looking for a place to stay in the Newport area - significantly less expensive than staying downtown, even when factoring in Uber / Lyft rides (over the 2 days/2 nights we were there, we spent about $100 between 8 rides to / from the hotel to either the beach or downtown Newport). PROS: 1. Rooms are clean and fairly spacious, hotel feels safe, free breakfast and downtown Newport is just a short ride away! A good spot for a weekend getaway to Newport. 2. Front desk staff was great, they let us check in early (even after a sold out night) and both times we asked for extra towels, they were brought up almost immediately. 3. I also appreciated how a Starbucks, Shaw’s and Walgreens are all within a 10 minute walk of the hotel (even though the walk to get there isn’t the most pedestrian friendly). 4. I didn’t have the chance to use the indoor pool, but I appreciated the option, as I don’t believe all Hampton Inn’s have pools. Recommendations for Improvement: 1. Shuttle - either making the shuttle free or at a much reduced cost. I read in reviews that the shuttle was $3 one way and was disappointed to find that the price has increased to $7 one way per person. For the average couple, let alone the average family, it’s cheaper - or at the very least the same cost (depending on the time of day) - to just Uber / Lyft downtown. 2. Not sure why the website lists an onsite restaurant? There isn’t one, other than the lobby hosting the complimentary breakfast, which is only open at breakfast. I’d recommend adjusting this on the website as it’s a bit misleading. As a Hilton credit card holder, I was hoping to use my quarterly Hilton credit for a drink and/or meal here, and was disappointed to learn this wasn’t a possibility. 3. Fix the Keycard issue - our keycards weren’t working our second night and we had to go down to fix them. Then, that following morning before checkout we had the same problem with the new key cards as well, not sure the issue there.

호텔은 좋은 위치에 있으며 많은 슈퍼마켓과 레스토랑으로 둘러싸여 있으며 여러 맨션에서 멀지 않은 해변까지 운전할 수 있습니다. 호텔의 수영장은 1층에 있으며 멋지게 보입니다. 방은 크고 냉장고와 전자레인지, 무료 아침 식사, 시리얼, 주스, 차, 커피, 요구르트, 과일 및 소시지, 절인 고기, 계란, 빵, 스낵 등이 있습니다. 나쁘지 않습니다. 다만 아쉬운 점은 2주전에 미리 설정해놓고 이틀전에 집값을 보니 2주전보다 거의 200위안 가까이 싼 가격이다.

This hotel is spotless ! Everything is very clean . Housekeeping came in daily and changed towels and tidied up. Toni at the front desk was very friendly and when I mentioned to her that the shade in our room was stuck she had it fixed immediately . Suzette from the breakfast area did an amazing job of keeping the food options full, warm and appetizing up until the end of the breakfast window . She also continually cleaned the tables as soon as someone finished eating . Our stay here was pleasant all 4 nights. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
