트로픽스 호텔(Tropics Hotel)

I love the Tropics for the relaxed atmosphere and for the beautiful hotel cats that are treated as a precious and valuable asset. I have friends staying over repeatedly and it is so amazing to Just chill by the pool with Mishues and Lola, that makes the hotel stand out and that’s the reason why we keep booking and recommending it !!!

Like many hotels in Miami this one is in dire need of refurbishment. The rooms are very basic without even a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Most disturbing (literally) was how thin the walls seem to be as were heard chatting and banging almost constantly until after 2am. All that said the staff are friendly and helpful allowing us to check in 2 hours early and also happily storing our luggage as we needed it. The reception area is comfortable with good internet provided. In terms of location this is a short walk to the beach and local shopping.

The staff here were incredibly nice and caring. I had to call hotel few times before my trip and they were all courteous and respectful. The pool area is nice to sit out in amd comfortable chairs. The hotel foes not provide beach towels , shampoo, lotion or conditioner ..just small soap so bri.f your own or go Walgreens or CVS walking distance from there and you can buy some. There are washer and dryers in the hotel as well. Hotel is in a great location. My only complaint was when we first checked into room 303 it was filled with roaches..it was the room facing Loews Hotel. The staff was great in moving us to room facing the pool which was great no roaches. Also if you have bad claustrophobia like I do .. do not ride the elevator. I did once and thought I was stuck I'm there as it was incredibly slow. If you have no problems with that then you are fine. There is a great place for breakfast called FL Cafe going down the street south direction. Would definitely stay there again for a good economical deal. Thank-you to great staff again they were the nicest people.

My name is Cierra and the service as well as the room has been absolutely horrible. upon checking in ,the beds were still dirty and slept in I had to call the front desk to come and clean off the bed that was disgusting they left without bringing any new sheets or new blanket which is further unprofessional and disgusting the bathroom was disgusting and I had to purchase my own cleaning products in order to be able to use it after checking in. None of the outlets will work In the room except for the one in the bathroom and there’s no way to charge my phone ,the lights are flickering as well . The front desk agent luiz just came into the room without knocking several times I was in th middle of dressing one of the times that he came into the all female dorm. I don’t feel comfortable with a male having access, walking in whenever he feels like. He also realized that he miss charged us for the stay because he was unattentive and waited 7 hours to tell us -and wants us to pay extra for his mistake so he dosnt get in trouble. I told him no and that’s ridiculous why should we have to pay extra money already paid and checked in and both received keys that’s not a proper his mistake and I’m already waiting to speak to the manager for a discount refund or a new room so there’s no way I would be paying more money at this point. he kept coming back in the room and was harassing me I need to walk to the bathroom to pay him more money fire his mistake .overall the hotel is a mess and we need to be moved to a private room Or refunded I feel uncomfortable a d harassed and I will be reporting this to every single page I possibly can if this is not rectified immediately

Hola, dejo mi experiencia del lugar! Llegamos el 1ro de julio la ubicación es buena, y como todo parecía ok decidimos pagar el mes completo! ‍♀️ Los primeros 4 DÍAS TODO OK! En adelante empezaron los problemas, estuvimos Dos semanas SIN AGUA CALIENTA, SIN COCINA, NI SECADORA, literal tenían el gas cortado, todos los días preguntábamos para cuando volverían a funcionar los servicios y nos decían lo mismo; mañana, mañana, mañana! Ya ni ganas de preguntar! LO QUE NO ENTIENDO COMO UN HOTEL PUEDE SEGUIR RECIBIENDO GENTE Y SIN DARLES RESPUESTAS A LOS HUÉSPEDES QUE YA ESTÁBAMOS AHÍ, COMO HACEN PARA NI SI QUIERA BRINDARTE AGUA CALIENTE LO BÁSICO E INDISPENSABLE PARA TODO! Tuvimos que comprar una cocina electrica, Lugo de todo esto decidimos irnos del lugar dejando 10 días sin ocupar! Hablamos con la manager de ese día y le preguntamos!! cómo podíamos hacer que opciones nos daban sabiendo que no nos iban querer devolver la plata de esos 10 días! A lo que nos contestan que podíamos dejar esos 10 días a quien quisiéramos con todos los datos correspondientes; nombre, apellido, número, etc! Al día siguiente nos retirábamos y dejábamos hospedada a una persona que conocimos en el mismo hotel lo que la manager de ese día GIOIA O COMO SE LLAME, NOS HIZO PASAR LA PEOR SITUACIÓN DE MIERD… Y experiencia que vivimos en ese hotel, diciéndonos que no se podía hacer eso cuando la opción ellos mismos nos la dieron, obviamente reclame me enoje, y pedí el libro de quejas del lugar y que me mostrara cuáles eran las normativas del lugar ( me respondió que las tenía en la computadora) negándome un derecho como consumista, como Huesped como turista, realmente nose como se ganan el puesto esta gente, me amenazo con la POLICÍA, señora por favor ?? Estoy reclamando con derechos, esta gente a los turista los quieren toman como boludos o que ?? La misma nos propuso tomarnos los datos y que dejáramos libre los 10 días para ellos VOLVER ALQUILAR LA HABITACIÓN y el día 31 ósea finalizando el mes se comprometió a llamarnos y darnos el reembolso de los días que supuestamente alquilaron! Entre ala pagina durante los 10 días y estaba todo ocupado, dejamos la cuenta abierta de Netflix y nos agregaron otra cuenta ósea la persona a la que ellos le alquilaron. Desde el día 1ro los estoy llamando y nadie da la cara, obviamente que el 31 nadie apareció! Pero le pregunto a los Dueños del lugar! Quien se hace responsable cuando hay estos problemas o cualquier otro ?? Porque del 1ro que llamo y las personas que atienden el tel como Antonela, Johnatan, etc que son los que hablan español se lavan las manos obvio son empleados pero por lo menos capaciten a la gente para resolver problemas ya que la respuesta de ellos es que nunca esta la manager todo muy raro no estuvimos casi un mes y estaban de lunes a viernes de 9 a 15 hs ahora no hay nunca nadie ?? El nivel de caradurez es muy alto! Hasta el día de la fecha nadie me da una solución, los dueños tampoco se responsabilizan por el personal

Por mas barato que sea un hotel hay cosas que son inegociables, solo las detallo para ser claro: - entra gente de afuera a fumar ********* a la pileta - uno fumado empezo a cargar a otro, empzaron a grit**** y casi se van a la manos en la pileta y nadie del hotel intervino - las ventanas de las habitacion no se abren - los baños no tienen respiracion ni se abre la ventana - las alfombrar datan de hace 20 años (o mas) - los colchones son una piedra - hay olor a ********* 24/7, es permanente, literal - el wifi se corta todo el tiempo ES UN DESASTRE TOTAL

Hotel muy bien ubicado, en el corazón de Miami Beach, cruzando la calle se encuentra la playa. En cuanto al hotel la recepcionista que estaba por la mañana fue muy simpática y cordial, muy buena su atención. El hotel cuenta con piscina en la parte trasera, cocina y heladera. En cuanto a la habitación, ducha con abundante agua caliente, cama cómoda. Posee caja fuerte de seguridad en la habitación.

Los colchones son incómodos, las ventanas no se abren, las ventanas de los baños no se pueden mantener abiertas porque se caen solas, para cocinar hay 8 hornallas (gas) de las cuales 1 no andan, 5 andan muy mal y solo 2 funcionan. No había tenedores en la cocina, solo cuchillos y cucharas. La cocina está llena de hormigas. UN MOTEL DE MALA MUERTE
