We are still in the hotel which claims to have earned four stars. Hah ... good joke. To be a four-star hotel, you have to have different sorts of premises like a swimming pool, parking, dining room ... room equipment, good service, etc. Let's start from the beginning. Location: The hotel is situated in a place called Meta, and that place has no similarities with Sorrento. It is about 3km from Sorrento, and about 6km from the city center of Sorrento. There are no sidewalks between Sorrento and Meta, so it is almost impossible to walk from place to place. But it is great that near the hotel (about 150m down the hill), there is the bus stop where you can take the bus to Sorrento. The hotel is almost on the top of the hill, which is not bad, but it can be very demanding, especially if you want to come to the beach more than one time per day. App Activity Tracker claims that the height difference between beach level and hotel entrance is 12 floors, but I think it is more than that. The beach which is 12 floors beneath the hotel is the best beach in the area, so that is the really good thing. Parking: The parking in front of the hotel is always full and it has to be paid separately. If you find parking somewhere, you are ready to reach the hotel entrance. Staff: Everybody is polite, if you are speaking Italian. But if not, if you approach someone who doesn't speak English, he will be just staring at you with no words, until someone else comes to the front desk. Conversation is extremely polite. Hotel-premises: Elevators are slow, but they are working. Everything is perfectly clean. Swimming pool is extremely small (about 8x5m). Big terrace is very nice, with a nice view, but mostly there is nobody there because there is a great terrace in front of the hotel with a very nice view of Sorrento. Rooms: are very like on their website, there is no safe deposit box in the room, tv is old, small, and without remote controller (which can be the issue if you wanted to watch the sport game or smth), towels are fabricated from some strange material, but the cleanliness is perfect. The room has been cleaned every single day. The doors are not very well noise isolated, which is the issue with walls, also. There is no carpet, in the whole hotel and rooms, the ceramic floors are dominant. Food: we paid for half-board service. Breakfast and dinner are served in a very nice dining room. There are a bunch of waiters who are always smiling and who are being polite. When you seat yourself for the first time, you are obliged to sit there all the time with the same companions. Every table gets its number, so you can eat only one croissant for breakfast, drink only one coffee from the machine (which is prepared by the waiter), and to drink as much as you want very poor quality refreshments from the machine, using the smallest glasses you have ever seen. This hotel was formerly a convent and is adjacent to a beautiful church, and the setting is serene and beautiful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so accommodating and helpful that you could not ask for more. The room my wife and I stayed in was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the coffee was delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and the service given was among the best we’ve ever experienced. There is complimentary wi-fi ( a rarity these days with most establishments charging a small premium) . We had a lovely stay which was predominantly down to the staff and in particular a lovely lady named Theresa who always went out of her way and was so accommodating. Although the hotel is listed as a “Three Star” it feels like a “5 Star”. Stunning , and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here four nights in May 2022. A superb hotel, we would definitely stay here again. Staff were really helpful and friendly, particularly the restaurant staff. The restaurant was great: we had lunch when we arrived (and another lunch by the pool), and two dinners. Better than other outings in Sorrento. Breakfast was great, a good choice, including bacon and scrambled eggs. Lots of fruit, yogurts, and coffee was good! Room was beautiful, great bathroom, terrific shower. Beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. Comfy bed, and we were able to log into our Netflix account! Spent a lazy day by the pool, warm enough to swim, a delicious lunch too. That was after a great massage at the spa. An indulgence day, just perfect. We thought the hotel might be too remote, but it was ideal. Definitely would not recommend staying in Amalfi, Positano or Capri, they're pretty but tourist traps. Capri, you really need someone else's bank account. Sorrento was the other option, but we're glad we chose here. The bus to Sorrento stops right outside the bus, and takes about 15 minutes to town. You're a walk away from Massa Lubrense, but there's no footpath, we didn't risk it. At reception, pick up a brochure for Soc, Coop. Marina della Lobra, a water tour company. They leave from the port near Massa Lubrense, and pick you up from the hotel (less than 5 mins to harbour). Much better than the chaos of Sorrento, very friendly crew, and lovely clean neat boats. We did Amalfi/Positano and also Capri. Just perfect. Really recommend this company. And finally, the piece de resistance: the view from our balcony. After arriving, we had lunch and went to bed early. Woke up in the morning at about 7, to see the early morning sun glowing on the cliffs of Capri. Now that's romantic! Idyllic. We also had a lovely sunset over Ischia. Breathtaking. You wouldn't get this anywhere else. So, definitely don't stay on the Amalfi coast. If you're thinking of staying in Sorrento, (which is a real town, not just a freak clutching onto a cliff), consider this gorgeous hotel. I would totally recommend it to anyone.

좋은 숙박이었습니다. 주변에 대중 교통이 심각하게 부족하기 때문에 운전 면허증을 가져오는 것이 좋습니다. 왜냐하면 그것 없이는 좌초되고 장소를 돌아 다니는 것이 고통스럽습니다. 버스는 실제로 일정에 따라 가지 않으며, 얻기가 어려울 수 있는 티켓이 필요합니다. 숙소에서 바라보는 뷰가 너무 예쁘고 바람이 많이 불어서 여름 더위에 기분이 좋습니다. 거주지 근처에 수영장이 있으므로 바다에서 수영 할 필요가 없다면 좋은 생각 일 수 있습니다. 그러나 또한 수영장은 매주 목요일 파티를 조직하며 음악은 2-3 오전까지 엄청나게 시끄럽습니다. 거주지 자체는 훌륭하고 깨끗했으며 주인은 모든 것이 어디에 있는지 설명하는 데 매우 도움이되었습니다. 우리가 거주지에 대한 질문이 있다면 그는 도움이 되는 답변으로 대답할 것입니다.
