A lift will take you directly to the flat. Once on the 3rd floor, you enter the fully equipped open-plan kitchen, which is directly connected to the large living room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up your favourite dishes. The equipment includes: Dishwasher, coffee maker, oven, microwave, large hob, blender, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, wine and beer glasses, children's crockery and cutlery and much more. The adjoining living room is flooded with warm light all day through its floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows. The wooden floor provides additional cosiness. You can sit together at the bar table for coffee or a quick breakfast. Behind it is the large and comfortable couch, which you can also use as a sofa bed. A large flat-screen TV with Netflix invites you to spend cosy evenings watching films. You can make yourself comfortable in a stylish hanging chair hanging from one of the original historic roof beams. The living room also offers a large dining table with seating for up to 6 people. A children's high chair is available free of charge. Under the stairs, the cosy tepee invites your children to play. We provide a large selection of games and books for young and old. From the living room you can access the large and sunny south-facing balcony, from which you can look out over the lively Mering market square. The Christmas market takes place here in December and the weekly market every Friday. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Alps from the balcony. Opposite the kitchen is the modern and freshly renovated bathroom, which will delight you with its large ground-level shower, separate bathtub, washing machine and large mirror and sink. Here, too, we provide everything you need for your little ones: changing mat, baby bath, potty, children's toilet seat and bathroom stool. A staircase leads you up to the gallery, from where you can look down into the living room. On the gallery we have created a workplace with a desk and swivel chair for you. You can make yourself comfortable on a small couch to read. The door on the right leads you into the large master bedroom. Directly under the roof with a view of the stars, you can sleep here in a comfortable 180cm wide double bed. The open wooden beams exude a historic charm. You can store your clothes in an open wardrobe with hanging space. On the left side of the gallery is the small bedroom with a comfortable 160cm wide double bed. The small room does not have an outside window, but only a window into the gallery, but lanterns and window mirrors make this room a real cosy oasis. For families with babies and small children, we also provide a baby cot, a highchair and a diaper changing station. There is an optional fall protection at the stairs. ABOUT THE AREA: The flat is located directly on the market square in Mering and you can reach the train station in 5 minutes on foot. From there you can travel to Augsburg main station in just 15 minutes and to Munich main station in 25 minutes without changing trains. By car, you can be in Augsburg and at the trade fair centre in 15-20 minutes. Königsbrunn, Haunstetten and Bobingen are also only 10 minutes away. There are several restaurants, bakeries, an ice cream parlour, a pharmacy and many shops directly around the house. There are several large supermarkets and discount stores in the nearby commercial area. From the market square you can take beautiful walks through Mering and its castle park. The registry office and the church are also just a 2-minute walk away. From Mering you can get to Lake Mandicho, Lake Weitmannsee or the River Lech in just a few minutes by car or bike. Here you can do water sports in summer or go for a wonderful walk at any time of the year. Lake Ammersee is only 30 minutes away. The mountains are also easily accessible by car for a day trip.
