Had a Fantastic stay here on Easter Bank Holiday,modern pod with plenty of space and amenities. Will definitely be coming back!

The welcoming area upon arrival has a door that you can't see the staff behind so you have to ring a bell and wait. Not very welcoming when you hear the staff chatting behind the door before they come and welcome you. It was dark outside and so finding our accommodation once given the key was very difficult as you weren't escorted to the accommodation. Thankfully we had a torch with us to assist our direction. No info was provided on the Wi-Fi availability at checkin. We suggest a one page sheet is given to all guests covering all the various points like heating, Wi-Fi and meal times and restaurant location. The note inside the cabin re switching on the hot water was misleading. We had to revisit the checkin staff to ask where the switch was. We advised the staff again the next day of this and they said it would be updated as they agreed it was incorrect. As for the bedding, the mattress was atrocious, you could feel the springs coming through the top of it. There were stains on the mattress. No mattress or pillow protectors were provided. Nor were any additional blankets provided incase it turned really cold during the night and the panel heater wasn't sufficient. The TV remote needed a through clean as it was disgusting with grime all over it. On the positive side, the food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was lovely and the staff were responsive and engaging.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience staying here. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. The cleaning staff had folded my clothes for me whilst I was away and made the room extremely clean for each return after working during the day. I personally had bothered every bar tender to make me a Moscow mule (in which I had learned is not commonly asked for in the UK) and every time they were very willing to work with me and make it happen! I will be staying here again!

This is an old property so do not expect all mod cons. Big old 4 poster bed which was comfortable. We booked for 2 adults, one child but when we arrived at 21.50 hours we noticed there was nowhere in the room for our 14 yr old to sleep. We dashed down to the bar staff who book you in when arriving late as we knew they were leaving off at 22.00 hrs. Thank goodness we caught them or we would have gad nowhere for him to sleep and noone to ask as all staff dusappear at 22.00. Theyy had overlooked the booking and the bar staff gad to then find us another room. We were moved to another room with a sofa bed. The room had not been cleabed for some time as there wete cobwebs on the furniture and a pair of trousers under the bed which were also full of dust so had been there a while. The remote for the tv was broken. We slept ok although the room was really hot so had to have window wide open all night. Breakfast was a cooked breakfast which was lovely but not gluten free so I had mine without the bits I couldnt eat! They did have gluten free bread but needed guidance on cross contamination. No healthy options for breakfast jut this was ok for us. Beware when arriving that you need to turn into the conference centre driveway to find the old hall. This is not marked as being there.

We checked in very late (9 pm) so only restaurant staff were on duty. So we couldn’t really tell anyone about this but there were lots of flies in the cabin around the light area. We managed to kill around 20 (which took ages) but had to go to sleep with a few buzzing around. We had to get to sleep as were up early to catch a flight. Also, we were told to put the booster button on 45 minutes before a shower so my husband got up twice in the night to do this as we had to be up early for a flight at 6 am. Even with this the water was still cold. The bed was a very small double and the mattress quite uncomfortable. It’s such a shame as the actual hut looked really lovely and the staff were great & helpful -one even gave me a hairdryer from the main house. But I wouldn’t stay here again if we had an early flight due to the hot water issue and someone really needs to check on the fly issue. I didn’t think it was worth the price in all honesty! Thanks

This was a totally unexpected Gem. We booked a night to stay the Old Hall randomly. On the way to the NEC the next day for the caravan and motorhome show. Never before had we heard or had any inclin of what we had booked What we got was first class service, a totally beautiful room with a Jacuzzi bathroom The restaurant Quicken tree was just worth a visit on its own...the service from Daniel was something the company can be proud of, and the food was first class too Quirky conference / restaurant So much to take in Would absolutely recommend a stay with these guys. Absolutely stunning log cabins/glamping pods… We stayed in Frankie and it was fantastic! We even got a hot tub which wasn’t expected ( we didn’t go in as was raining and cold) Just superb lovely and clean bed was a little hard but I slept well so must not have been that bad.. think it would have been nice if u could park your car out side the cabin.. Very short distance to all places we was going to resorts arena and it took less then 10 mins to get there… We had breakfast did take a long time to come out even though it was empty but food was nice. And I didn’t realise u for money off for staying there so only cost £5 for 2 breakfasts and drinks.. Highly recommend deffo will ve coming back.

An impressive property set in delightful countryside location but with easy access to a wide array of onsite complimentary facilities. I also chose to stay here based on the diversity of rooms, lodge at price to suite my budget. Lastly, the breakfast service was just excellent sufficient to put a smile on my face. See you again perhaps?

The hut was lovely and the surroundings great however there was a extremely loud party until 1am. Bass and drunken shouting people from the event were keeping my whole family up and ruined our day on Sunday. We drove 3.5 hours to get an early night and arrive at NEC for a horse show at 8.30am. However our day has been ruined due to us not being able to sleep until 3am when I politely asked the drunk neighbours to quieten down. Advertised for families and children but I would hesitate when booking due to the events centre which is cleverly not mentioned when booking. I have videos of people shouting and of the extremely loud drum and bass music rattling our accommodation for the evening.
